Way more than this will be needed.  Please contact Lizz Cannon.  She is a very reputable immigration attorney who specializes in waivers.  She gives free consults.
Yes, this is a valid hardship.  I used a similar one.  It matters that HE will need to remain in the USA to care for her not you.  Many people get confused regarding hardships for waivers.  The waiver is for the beneficiary yes BUT the hardship has to be proven on the USC.  The USC must prove that there are valid reasons it would cause a hardship for them to leave the USA and live in the foreign beneficiary's country.  It will take proof, not just letters written by your husband....Doctor's reports, prescription orders, hospital records, actual documentation to prove this.  Waivers are much more than mere letters and the I-601 application form. And actually some of the things you mentioned of what your husband will say in his letter, should really be put into the waiver brief.  His letter should be more of a focus on your relationship/marriage.  Please contact Lizz Cannon as she is expert with this.  Feel free to private msg me also.  Our I-601 waiver was approved in May 2016.

My attorney just got back to me, his mother's case would help, because my husband can prove that he will experience financial hardship if I don't come back!!

The embassies usually start towards the end of the month and fill available slots until there is either no more interview slots available or they have nobody to fill the interview slots so they continue filling slots as soon as someone case completes. So there isn't an exact date that they start or stop just a timeframe of when they start.

Interview scheduling is done the last week of the preceding month. So January scheduling should be starting up next week. They continue until they either run out of slots (That's the norm) or they run out of petitions. So just hang on hopefully you will grab a slot.
Also we have a thread just for your questions please come join the Case Complete to Interview thread. You have already been added to the spreadsheet.

Wait, have I missed something? Did I fall asleep on November 17 and wake up on January 20?
He's not even president yet. No new policies will be put in place over night.
I don't recall him ever saying he wanted to end family reunifications. But if I missed something, please post a link where he said that as it would be handy for all of us to read it.

After doing a little research, I really don't think that Trump would do too big of a harm to anyone of us, who have a pending I-130, or a NVC case. I think some minor changes are ought to come AFTER January 20, 2017. I also think that he is going to make a better screening of terrorism, which I don't think anyone on here is planning on doing.

Every interview is different and you never know what you'll be asked. Taking every evidence you can to the interview won't hurt. It pays to be prepared.

I'm a little worried too now that Trump has won the election. My case is now completed at the NVC, and I should get an interview soon. I'm worried about him not liking foreigners.
is he really going to build a wall between US and Mexico?? it has to be a joke, right??

I agree. I'm not a Melania fan, but I think having an immigrant First Lady is kind of a good thing. I like that she's fluent in multiple languages, if anything, that alone is good for diplomacy.

It sounds like family based visas will be OK - from everything I've read, it sounds like he wants to prevent the abuse of work based visas more than anything.
After what I've read, I'd be surprised if he made significant changes to marriage visas or family based green cards

You are waiting for the AOS fee to change from PAID to N/A. That's the 3rd N/A. Than you can call and confirmed. So at about 30 to 45 days hopefully ypu have case complete.

    Hi
When you log into CEAC if there are three NA's, then the case is complete and you then have to wait for an interview to be scheduled.

lol, ok, then he can ignore the second comment on the I-130.
You can do it in person or by mail. If the Manila US Embassy permits DCF, then you can show up at the Embassy without appointment, or you can do courier mail to the Embassy.

Oh gosh no. You just need to show the general duration of the relationship and ongoing communication, they certainly aren't going to read word for word 3 years of text unless they're very bored...and they're too busy to be that bored. Just print a few pages here and there over the duration of the relationship.
Mostly as a thought exercise I figured out how much I'd need to print just a few months of chat and call logs between my wife and I. 4 months was nearly 800 pages. In the end, I sent USCIS groups of pages selected randomly every few weeks. I sent more from the start of the relationship and the most recent few weeks. The exceptions were eHarmony (where we met) and Skype, which I just sent the whole thing, because my wife and I only used them for the first few days we knew each other before switching to Facebook and gradually to iMessage/FaceTime. Even trimming it down our package weighed way too much, I could have probably trimmed a lot more. I did keep all the logs for myself, however, and continue to do so. I also noted I have made selections and how I made selections, lest USCIS/DoS wonder why it wasn't complete or ask for the whole thing.

the usual time for NVC to review all documents is 6 weeks, and that's the time frame that the NVC will tell you when you call them and to ask how long it will take. However, you should call them to confirm if they have received your package or not though.

I believe as soon as you fill out the DS-260, which is done after the both the IV fee and AOS fee are paid, you can send the documents on the checklist After you've sent it, you can give them 2 to 3 days to receive it. Remember to call to confirm they have receive your mail.
