  1. Nope. It will be a contract between you and the federal government.
  2. When is the interview? Unemployment in the US is still low. Why can you not find a job?
  3. You sound like you would like to speak to the manager of the institution of marriage.
  4. I think you're missing the point being made: it isn't a lack of reason to visit, it is a lack of reason to return to home country. This is the crux of what tourist visas are adjudicated on. It is ironic, but having close ties in the US is not a plus when t comes to getting a visa.
  5. As all of the USCIS international offices have been closed for years, DCF is on a case-by-case basis. It is not automatic.
  6. 13 months is the USCIS quoted timeframe for the approval of the I-129F petition. Either process will take about two years.
  7. In the interim, the 551 stamp in your passport serves as your evidence of legal residence. Welcome to the USA!
  8. And I am not sure if I can explain this more: if someone working in that clinic wanted to perpetuate fraud, they have ample sensitive info on you already, without needing the letter, case number or invoice ID.
  9. Please do a timeline, as many of our answers would be consulate-specific. For the petition, 'affidavits' or letters from relatives are not useful. You are better off focusing on providing evidence of the required one time meeting of the prior two years. Some of the info on VJ is dated. I always recommend going straight to the source, and using the USCIS checklist as a guide. USCIS really has no way of verifying how recent a photo was taken. Obviously if it was so long ago that the age doesn't match up, that would raise questions. 30 vs 42 days won't make a difference. Just make sure the size conforms to the guidelines.
  10. They're not making a 'profit.' Like all complex systems, there is a lot more involved in the process than just the 30 minutes or whatever. I work in healthcare. A 30 minute infusion for a patient may seem quick and easy, but the unseen research and development, education, time, materials etc that went into making it happen are significant.
  11. Both of those statements are incorrect. RFEs are not generated until someone begins adjudicating a petition. It does not take 13 months to adjudicate a petition- most take about 30 minutes. Nothing is actively happening to your petition for 99% of the ‘processing time.’ Anything in your petition that would trigger an RFE hasn’t even been seen yet. If you go to USCIS.gov , you can check the current processing time for the I-129F.
  12. No one is owed a work visa for the US. Being outraged at the process doesn't help you. And the actions of your own country have contributed hugely to your current situation.
  13. Takes the better part of the year to get the EAD......not exactly quick.
  14. These are family reunification visas. As the petitioner, you would absolutely need to be domiciled in the US before they could immigrate.
  15. Unfortunately Pakistan has inadequate criminal/background record-keeping practices that do not conform to US standards, so the AP process for your country can take awhile.
  16. All of the info about obtaining an ITIN is in the IRS link I gave you.
  17. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/how-do-i-apply-for-an-itin This was very easy to find from a 2 second Google search. I thought you hired a lawyer and refiled?
  18. After 5 years and a NOIR......you're still at this? If you really want to have a life together, why hasn't she moved to your country?
  19. How did you get your US citizenship? Through your former spouse?
  20. What do the instructions say? Most forms requiring photos want them to be current/taken within 30 days.
  21. Without skills, education and work experience, you will not have any work visa opportunities in the United States. Like others have suggested, focus on getting those things if you want to be considered a serious candidate for an employer-sponsored visa.
  22. If you or your parents were born in certain countries, or you have travel history to certain countries, that could trigger the AP. Is a B visa even the correct visa for a clinical rotation? And like C. Cat said, nothing can be done. You can watch the CEAC for the status to turn to "issued," and also wait to see if they request more documents from you.
