That is a very useful tool thank you.

We just got the reminder letter in the mail from USCIS. My wife and I have started preparing my I- 751. We have a shoe box full of evidence already.
My 90 day window opens in 2 weeks so I’ll be a May filer. How early are people sending there app? My date will be the 16th of May so I’m gonna send it on that date so they don’t reject it.
So excited to be dealing with USCIS again.

I guess she could have asked for consent to check his I-94 in those 2 days...but I think that's a pretty big assumption.
Apparently a lot happened in those two days so it wouldn’t be beyond the realm of possibility that she did 😊 lol

Checking somebody else's I-94 without their permission is illegal. From the big modal window on CBP's website when checking the I-94:
"By accessing this website, you understand and acknowledge that:
- You are declaring under penalty of perjury pursuant to 28 U.S. Code § 1746 that you: (1) are only seeking records about yourself, (2) are seeking records about someone for whom you are the legal guardian, or (3) you have the consent of the person whose records you are seeking. You are not authorized to access this website to retrieve records of another person unless you are the person's legal guardian or you have the person's consent. "
She may have consent to check as per part 3.

I would check his i94 and see if he actually left the US. If you know his passport number you can check it. Should have a copy of all his info from K1 process. This Sounds kinda fishy to me.

Same thing... It's been almost 13 months since applications were received.
I-485 and I-130 statuses still - "Case was received".
Our lawyer went to Infopass and they said the case is still at National Benefit Center - it means they still reviewing something... Local officer had no idea what exactly.
Considering I never even had speeding tickets - I have no idea what's happening and why it's taking so long... All other couples from Boston who applied in June-July had their interviews in December-January. And now I have to apply for EAD/AP extension and pay extra 410$ for that...
Losing hope and patience...
Its free to renew your ead and AP

Does anyone know the website to check the status?
You can download a case tracking app for your phone too. Just search for USCIS case tracker in the App Store

We got our NoA2 on 4/20 and I got the good news that our case was received today. Still waiting on number to schedule interview though.
When I did It last year they had my number by the end of the day they received it so really fast. So try back tomorrow and they should have your number. Thank you

Just asking for my friend. He got NOA2 on the 24th of April. Anyone know how long it's taking to get to the NVC then onto Embassy currently.

Missing police certificate and, for some bizarre reason, our prenuptial agreement.
The IO asked if we had one. We said yes. She asked for a full copy.
She he also asked if it said anything about immigration in it - which was odd. Of course it doesn't!
Sorry to butt in here. But I never made a Pre nuptial agreement. Are these common? Hope they don't asked for one. USCIS do ask for some crazy stuff sometimes.

UPDATE:
We hired a lawyer (we are in New York City) and she recommended to file a motion since it takes less time, it's cheaper and since it is a technical error the chance they won't accept it is very low. However, before doing that, she said she will go to their office in person and talk to them and try to make them reopen the case without filling a motion. That was yesterday and an hour later an immigration officer called us and said they will reopen the case without filling a motion, he just want both of us to come for an interview with the original documents they previously requested.
So I am very happy with the outcome and what this lawyer managed to do for us. It cost us $2,000, but at least we don't have to go through some additional legal process.
That is one cool Lawyer hahah happy for you guys.

lol I like to think of the religious people as the heathens.... Science is the only religion needed - just because we don't yet possess the science to explain everything in the universes doesn't mean we need to write fairy tales to explain it.
To be fair you can't rubbish peoples faith and belief in deity as fairy tales. There is no proof to suggest the non existent of god, science can only suggest prove so much and has limitations, there is so much unexplained events in this universe. People have faith and find hope in religion and it is unfair for religious people to call any one a heathen but also for non religious to call religious people heathens too.

Hi, we were living toghether in Spain in 2016, she started to work in January in the US, so she did not make any money in the Us in 2016.
So we donot know what to do.
They still have to file a us tax return even if you are living over seas if you make over a certain amount.
You can request that your income isn't considered if you made under 124,000 dollars I think. 2555Ez for the exemption.

Unfortunately they haven't yet processed your application and that's why you haven't gotten it. No they won't miss it... sorry....
You're right but I'm still in denial lol clutching at straws I guess.. Most people from December got their RFIE's in January, so annoyed at this stupid mistake. It's going to add months to my case. No student grants and stuck in limbo for the foreseeable future.

Hi guys,
I was just looking at our copy of the affidavit of support for my I485 AOS I came on the K1. My wife entered the wrong household size when she filled December 14th she entered 1 instead of 2 it's just me and her no kids. Im kinda pissed off, but these things happen. Strangely no RFIE yet we are 90 days into the process . Is there any hope that they might not notice this mistake, I doubt this very much. Anyone have an idea why I haven't received an RFIE yet it's very annoying that it's going to restart the clock over again when they do get around to it. If you have any experience good or bad with this issue please share so I can feel somewhat better.

You will be classed as a transfer student. http://registrar.tamu.edu/Registrar/media/REGI_Forms/residency_affidavit.pdf
I found that link on that College website it states that you qualify for Texas residency because of your pending adjustment of status. You will have to get your transcript from your previous college translated into something the university can compare to their system. Unfortunately you may still have a long road ahead of you. The US requires all undergrads take 60 credits of general education classes these are Math english etc along with 60 credits of a major depending on what they take as transfer you may spend another few years in college. But it is so worth it to have your degree. I transferred from a school in Ireland to one in the US and it's not hard you will meet ignorant people but that are many helpful people too.

@Suss&Camm That trick for the USPS you showed me is so cool. I Can see my combo card will be here on Friday. Only took 8 days.....

You are right! lol I especially can't see it since they could have avoided the work on the EAD/AP cards .
They need to hire in a really good supply chain manager to sort out that mess. Duplication of work is an expensive mistake. All that energy they use adjudicating EAD/AP cases could be put into I-485's You only had your EAD for a week lol now it's not even valid anymore. I've never seen a business run as badly as USCIS is operated in my life. They're charging more money and the service gets worse...Makes no sense.

Thank you!! I was hoping for the luck of not having an interview but I didn't even wanna say it out loud you know!
I hope this means most of us who have been waiting without any notice of what's going on will have have the same luck!
Looking that way. They are doing a huge amount of them in the last week from what I can see in October thread. I can't see why they are just leaving the waiver files sitting there for anymore then 4-5 months. 4 months is good going, well done. Fingers crossed in a few weeks us K1 December filers will be all getting this good news. ;-)
