    I'm not sure why they would have kept it for the medical exam. You're in a tough spot. Worst case scenario is that you wait, then have to get another one and send it in after the interview. That will, of course, delay the visa.

    Our USCIS officer wanted to see a clear paper trail of evidence since we first submitted the I-751. All leases, bank statements, driver's licenses, etc. Good luck.

    A K-2 Follow to Join must be issued a visa within 1 year of when the K-1 visa was issued. Normally, all K visas expire 6 months after the medical exam. I don't see an issue with your timeline.

    She does not qualify for a tourist visa because she is still a Green Card holder. A Green Card is not for visiting the US. It is for living in the US. Technically, she can just get on a plane and travel to the US. Then she can surrender her Green Card at some point. Question: What did the consulate officer say about her still having a Green Card?

    If the EAD category has changed, you should have filed as an initial application under the new category, not a renewal. When i-765 eligibility category has changed, should I file the form asking for an EAD renewal or an initial application? - Legal Answers (avvo.com)

    No. You've already petitioned the child as an immediate relative through marriage. You are already a step-parent.

    Misread. Editing: I wish you had come here 5 months ago. Have you asked USCIS to expedite the child's case? Has an interview date been assigned by NVC for wife's case? If not, ask NVC to hold wife's case until child case reaches them. If wife's interview date has been assigned, contact the consulate and ask them to hold wife's case until child's case reaches them.

    Don't withdraw the I-130. Once your case gets to NVC, it can be delayed there indefinitely. You can just delay submitting documents and/or paying the fees. As long as you contact them once a year, the case can remain open there. Then, continue the process from France when you are a few months away from re-locating to the US. Note: Upon approval, a visa is normally valid for 6 months after the date of the medical exam.....but could be less.

    I am certainly no authority in this area, but everything I have seen in my limited research says a full-time job offer is required. I don't know how you get around that.

    You moved around a lot. Why would they issue a card with Resident since: 08/04/20 ? There must be a reason. 1. Are you sure they didn't approve the 1st I-485? 2. When did you file the second I-485?

    Stick with complete joint account statements. Statements are good because they show that the account is joint, but they also can show who utilized them and how the account was used. Note: I would find another bank. I don't see any need to speak to the banker.

    As @OldUser suggested in your old post, did you include a copy of marriage certificate and a copy of the I-485 approval with the I90 (showing the I-485 was approved more than 2 years after your marriage)?
