I will provide evidence that we both tried to meet along with more evidence to satisfy what they are asking for. Perhaps when they know the real truth about my situation, they will consider approving my waiver, hopefully. I know that they have a lot of people on this forum that believe that the waiver is nearly impossible to get. But I don't really believe it is that way. All cases vary and I know that they have guidelines to go by when considering making a decision for approving or denying an extreme hardship waiver. Thanks again for all your replies.

Guys, whenever you are pissed off with your NOA2 waiting have a look on my timeline or watch some of my march fillers fellows. Was the worst month for us lol. Now the whole process it's a lot faster. You should all be excited and thankful getting your NOA2 in less than 3 months when the timeframe is like 5-6 months.

Take it easy, you need to wait until you get the paper in the mail so you can see what they need .
After that it won't take much...usually under 2 weeks after they receive the ,,missing'' stuff !

It's extremely easy. Me and alexpop13 had the interview on the same day ) they just asked basic question how you met, where, if we know each others birthday easy stuff. And evidence pictures.
We had our medical at biomedical 2 days before our interview but we got the results on the same day. If i recall it was around 380ron.

Don;t worry, we waited exactly 3 months for a RFE and another 1 month and 1 week for NOA2. 128 days from the NOA1 we got the approval.

You have to do your medical first which can only be done in Bucharest. I did mine at Regina Maria. It was 387 RON and I received the results the following day. The interview was pretty much a conversation with the CO. You can check my profile for the review. Or if you have any other question you can PM anytime.

There are flights from the UK directly into Cancun with no stop in the USA. You would be able to match that up with a flight from Romania to the U.K. Certainly a safer option.

The same standards of needing to prove ties to your home country apply to a transit visa © as they do for a visitor visa (B). Won't hurt to try, but will totally depend on what you can show to the visa officer about your reasons to go home and not stay in the US. Wouldn't book tickets and hotels until I had the visa in hand, just in case, though.

She was in Romania (she is romanian too) for 5 times in less than 1 year and a half... We talked about visiting Cancun for a very long time, just didn't expected to take 4 months + only for USCIS... I will give it a try, hotel will be booked with my credit card, same for my round trip and so on... Anyway i will keep you posted guys. Thank you !

I agree with the above comment. I suggest you both meet up in a third country, with no transit point in the US. Can't she travel to Europe or at least Eastern Europe where you could enter without visa ?

It will not affect your K1 visa process. However, it might be harder to get the transit visa, since you're demonstrating intent to move to the US. All you can do is try.

A 3 day visit doesn't really sound great... You should wait a little longer so you could meet with your wife more than 1 time...

I have no idea why did you booked your flight so early after the interview, anyway, DON'T think about that while you're at the Embassy having your interview.
