  1. Oath Ceremony completed this afternoon at Downtown Minneapolis USCIS Office - small group of about 16, a short speech by the judge (via remote video), oaths given, Certificates of Naturalization distributed, in and out in 10 minutes. Just a little over 5 years from start to finish - it's good to have made it to the finish line!

Best of luck to those just starting or still working on their processes. It WILL happen.

You certainly may! I received an email at 3:30 pm Central Time on January 22 notifying us of "recent processing action". I needed to log into the USCIS account to see what the "action" was - still haven't received a hard copy of the appointment notice, but an image of it was posted as a document in the account a couple days afterward showing the date, time, and location of the interview appointment.

Received the hard copy of the Interview Notice in the mail this afternoon: 8 days, interview is in just over 3 weeks. Excited to be near the Finish Line!

My estimated completion time showed June 2021 and as I have posted I just got the letter with the invitation for my oath ceremony one week from now. And two weeks ago it said completion time August 2012... and wait times showed different amounts of months.
So yes, I do think the time frames are messed up.

They are... when we got notification that my spouse was scheduled for "the" interview, it instantly added 11 months to the Completion Estimate...

If I may ask, what time did you notice the change or what time did they notify you / change your online status? Thanks

I’m wondering who on here has an N400 interview scheduled in Minneapolis for the next few weeks? So basically for the rest of January/ beginning of February and when it is you filled your N400? Thank you!

Hi mvan. We filed February 8, 2020 and we received notification of the Interview appointment today - the interview date is February 22... so the whole process to that point will have taken just over a year.

Hang in there... the interviews don't always happen "...in the order in which they were received". But your turn will come, probably just as you give up and decide to stop watching for updates!

I am guessing you will hear something next month.  Keep us posted!

And just as we give up and decide it's going to be a while longer, this notice arrived today! We'll have to wait for the letter to post, but should be soon now.

    **SIGH**  🙂

Haven't checked for about a month and they were holding Estimated Wait time to February 2021 (2 months at the time). Just checked again today and now says 2 Days.

    Feeling hopeful  😬

Apparently it knows how to calculate the number of days to the end of a month before it rolls forward to say "We are taking longer than expected..."  **Sigh**   Later applicants passing us by, but I know that's how it goes sometimes. Remaining patient.

Hello y'all! So has anyone from California seen any movement on their case AT ALL?! I know we have a higher load than all other states, but wow! No movement for any of us whatsoever it seems like.

Still sitting in MN since February. Speed seems to depend on which field office has your case for review

Oh okay so we just wait when the courthouse is open. Thank you so much ☺️

You're in Round Lake, in Lake County, IL? I checked the Lake County clerk's website and there isn't much information, but I DID find this information at the Cook County Clerk's website (https://www.cookcountyclerk.com/agency/vital-records):

That was the information tonight (8:50 pm Central Time), but might be worth checking the page within the next few days for an update to see if you could obtain a marriage license ONLINE from Cook County?

    Good luck!

Thank you!! I might plan to do early biometrics if i am in the st paul area and after I got my bio letter since I live 2 hrs away from the ASC.

May I ask how long did you wait until you got your bio letter online after you filed? Thanks again.

We received the hard copy Appointment Notice in the mail 16 days after we filed; 9 days after receiving notification online. Seemed like it took a little while, but it arrived. That was the important part.

You're in Wisconsin? You must be near Eau Claire (2 hour drive). That's my hometown.

Hi, i am from the same field office too. Were they busy when you walked in? Also, did they ask for a reason why you walked in earlier than your appointment?

    Thank you!

    Hi mrsR,

We arrived at about 1:30 pm on Thursday afternoon. There were 2 or 3 others in front of us, but we were in and out within 10-15 minutes. We didn't really give them an opportunity to ask why we were there early... we gave them the appointment letter with the March 2 date and time and explained that my spouse had mid-terms exams at the U on that date. The guard said, "I suppose" and gave us a number to wait our turn.

We have had to walk-in (prior to our appointment) twice on our journey, but both times we went in the early afternoon, later in the week, and didn't get turned away either time.

    Good luck!

  12. I believe that if you are submitting IRS transcripts, and I re-read the Form I-864 instructions and still interpret them this way , you do not need to include any other documentation. Just the transcript(s). All of the information contained in Schedules A-D will appear on the transcript. So you either submit copies of FILED tax returns, including all additional Schedules, or you submit an IRS Transcript.

Now all that said, if you submit IRS transcripts and if you HAVE copies of the additional schedules and you want to include them, it shouldn't cause your application to be rejected. But I believe that everything requested as documentation of tax filing is covered with just an IRS transcript.
