It's the holidays. Mail and government is barely functional. Patience is key. Barely been a month. No need to freak out.

I am getting it today also.

I just pray that the mailman will actually deliver it today.
Fact: it's being mailed out from the zip code 05495, which is VERMONT

A letter of explanation will also a big help plus the suggestions of these two. That's what I did when my name was not listed on the lease.
If you can show to USCIS as well that both of you paying the lease then it will a huge plus.

I second this. Submit copies of both you and your spouse's ids highlighting the same address and a letter from the friend or a neighbor will support the lease being only under your spouse's name.

Can you get the friend to submit an affidavit acknowledging that he knew you guys lived together at that address?

Not all lease allow to add names to lease agreements, sadly. My landlord is strict on that without credit score and a job for the first year (esp on K1 status) and 2nd year for renewal lease (we had to persuade them so much and they only accepted to include me as an occupant on 2nd yr), I had to use my cousin's name as my guarantor. Until we moved to a new unit, they allowed us to have my name included, removing cousin's name, after getting my credit build up.
As for registration of vehicle, some States require driver's license to do so, which I don't have it yet, only learner's permit. I'm slow in reaction, bad driver

I am in quite similar situation, I'm providing each letter of explanation in the front page of exhibits.
Not going to provide Power of Attorney and affidavits, but I included my country's ID with my US residing address on it, Government letters and updates of my US residential address, emails liaison with lease regarding having my name included lol

We actually submitted this because we moved states and didn't have any other concrete proof of residing together at the old address.  I think it is a perfectly valid thing to include.

cx711s reacted to oncoming traffic in I-751 : Is this enough evidence?
i think this is the only additional thing i would recommend especially if you can't officially get your name on the sublease too (i know some landlords are touchy about sublets)
i would not include this because while i know what you hope to achieve - to prove you've lived together the entire time - old identity documents can't be used to verify information (other than when you're submitting it to the original issuing agency for renewal or something)

Marriage certificate is not necessary for I-751.

The living situation sounds strange. You say that your spouse's name is on the lease agreement? Then one must assume that the rental lease is on your spouse's name and someone else but not you. To an skeptical eye, that may sound like your spouse lives with someone else but not you.
Why don't you add your name to the lease? Landlords don't care as long as the rent is being paid on time and property is kept in good conditions.  Or have your friend write a sub-lease stating that he is sub-leasing to you and your spouse. Not complicated to do.
An affidavit from the friend sub-leasing the apt to you two would not be a bad idea either. (Stating how he knows you two and why he is subleasing to you two, etc).

A few things more you could include:
-Registration for vehicles. If both of you are not on registration, just go to the DMV and add both names to the registration.
-Paystubs of both of you or W2s that show your current address.
-Instead of Tax Return copies, you have to submit IRS Tax transcripts, which is what USCIS prefers to see.

Dude... you are way to young. Give it time and be patient. Online compatibility is far great but the chemistry when you meet and how long that lasts is a completely different matter. Don't take this the wrong way but you probably already know this.... Don't  rush in to it.

Hi guys, I had an i-485 interview today and it was smooth and successful! everything was done in about 15 minutes.

So we were called about 30 minutes later than the appointment date, and the officer first wanted to see both our ids. He asked if he could get a copy of my husband's passport (USC). He then asked for proof of relationship documents (we brought about 20 pictures, joint bank accounts, joint health/car insurance, travel confirmations from recent vacations together, and joint phone bills.)

After that he asked basic questions to me, the applicant, about my name, BOD, address, where I was born, parents name, and my husband's name and BOD. Then he went through all the yes/no questions on if I have been a spy/prostitute/terrorist/former prisoner stuff.

I have entered the US with a J-1 visa in 2015, and was under a 2 year home residency rule, but I got a waiver on that. (This time I entered with a K-1.)
He pointed out that a 2-year-rule applied to my J-1 visa, so I told him that I got a waiver, showed him the original waiver approval letter and gave him a copy.

Then he said "Everything looks good" and that the case will be under review, and the letter will be coming within a month. But after like 10 minutes my case status updated to "New card is being produced" so yay on that!!

Like every other applicant I prepared so many extra things haha. an IRS report, recent paystubs, employment letter, even finally updated the address on my husband's drivers license, and a sealed I-693 after getting another MMR shot and a flu shot. (In the packet I only sent a ds-3025.)

Apparently it seems like 1 MMR shot is accepted from my experience, since I didn't get an RFE, and I wasn't asked for an I-693 with a second MMR even at the interview.

So anyways I'm glad that the interview went fine. I'm sure all the October filers will get a good news any minute, and I genuinely hope that!

Things like affidavits and cards are secondary evidence at best, so won't really add to your case.

Looks like you have plenty of evidence.  I wouldn't bother with the affadavits from friends and family.

Hi, My Case status changed Case was approved on 1/12, and I got approval letters(NOA) for EAD and AP last night. No card in hand yet.

My status is not updated to 'Card was mailed to me' either. I'm guessing it might take some time due to MLK day/inauguration this week. Inauguration day is a federal holiday as well so..
