sasha8384 reacted to Optimistic2016 in I-751/N400 combo interview
I went with my husband and children.

My husband was never interviewed, the Officer was very kind and asked me if that was my husband and children in the waiting room.

He approved my I-751 on the spot and then asked me the Civics questions (I believe 6), and asked me to read a sentence as well as write a sentence on the iPad.

He told me to look out for my Naturalization Ceremony form in a couple of weeks from then, that was it! It took a total of 10 minutes (if at all)

We went with plenty of evidence we had collected over the years of our relationship but I did not need to show any of them as the Officer did not request them.

Got a government job right away. No previous US experience and huge gap between employment. It took me to get interview in a week after applying and 1 month to start. Not a permanent position but they like me alot and hoping I can get permanent one eventually:)
Everything is possible if you working hard and persistent.

sasha8384 reacted to Poni in N-400 AND I-751 ISSUE
I’m in the same situation. I filed i751 in Sep 2017 and n400 in Oct 2018. I had my N400 interview on 9/20 and I got approved. I even received oath letter in the mail. I didn’t ask about my pending 751 at the interview and assumed it’d be approved automatically. So I went to oath ceremony only to find out my 751 is still pending and I can’t attend in oath ceremony.
does anybody have any new updates?

They are suppose to adjudicate the I-751 together with the N-400.  They likely will request a file transfer to get it done

Disclose it yes, but no, it will not show a lack of moral character. They generally only care if the ticket is over $500.

Thanks for your input . Right! Just by saying  (irrespective of the fact that she is US citizen ) uscis people wont believe the false charges until she has proof, which i doubt . As ours was legitimate marriage . she was the one who brought me into this country , then tortured me mentally , wanted divorce at first place and now she wants me to get deported.  Ridiculous people!!

Yeah, everyone always responds to people with "just search for the topic!" but in all reality, the search feature is nearly useless. You can't do a very specific search, and you can't do it by date... So it really doesn't always help!
Anyway, you can certainly wait for people who have gone through it to answer, but I know I've seen the topic at least a dozen times in my eight months on the forum! Filing for naturalization will help them to adjudicate your ROC.
    Good luck to you!

    Good point.

But that also depends on where the child is coming from and what their home life is like. Some kids need expediting due to illnesses,  financial reasons, or humanitarian reasons...Especially with these hurricanes and earthquakes going  on and severe loss

Anyways...lets keep in touch. I'll write in if I hear back anything.

You should fill out one form for each family member you are applying for. So one for spouse and one for child

She can apply up to 90 days prior to her "resident since" date on her GC. Just so you know, a conditional and an unconditional GC both provide permanent residency so the criteria have nothing to do with the kind of GC one has. Good luck!

If you had one there was fraud in 2015 and had another already in usa on K-1 August 2016 then maybe you should give it more time to get to really know them before bringing them. That said sorry it happened to you.

    Hi.
I got approved the first week of February. Thank you guys someuch for helping me out. Now that I am at the nvc stage, this is my question. I live in another country but I am originally from Jamaica. I haven't been to Jamaica in 3 years where do I get my police record from? Do I need it from both countries or just the one I'm living right now?
