I think you have a bigger problem than sending money to her family. She wants to live in another city with her friend, It seems she took you for a ride, now she is here she doesn't need you anymore, except financially. Don't you worry that she just got here and she has already a plan to leave you?, yep man she is leaving you, she might come home some weekends but soon she won't come back anymore.I saw tons of case like yours.

I disagree with the others' post about talking to her. Was this discussed prior to her coming here? Trust me, after you talk about this, next week you'll get a call about a family member is in the hospital and they need $600, you send it to them and this will continue. $200 per month in Thailand is an average full time monthly income. Let her go or you will be poor the rest of your life. You brought her here to have a better life, you did enough for her and her family.

My wife's family did the same thing, I thought your wife would be from Vietnam, like mine. Let her go!!! When my wife got here her family called at least once a month needing $500 - $800. Sounds like you have Neophobia, Actually the feelings your having are quite natural, its always hard when your going outside of your comfort zone so your mind is trying its best to look for things no matter how silly to keep you in that zone. Try moving to a third world country for one week with only $100 dollars in your pocket. That will make you flap your wings and fly over to America.

Have you verified that is her real living conditions or is it a scam? When you visit her, where do you stay? Living conditions are bad in Third World Countries, but she can move and work and live better. I know you are concerned for her wellbeing but still dont be fooled out of your moneu.

Personally it disgusts me to see gfm accounts for anything and everything. Instead of setting one up, are you having a wedding? Why not put on your invitation "donations in lieu of gifts greatly appreciated". Personally, if you cannot afford it or don't have people to help, save until you do. I'm sorry if it sounds harsh.
I saw a gfm account for people wanting the cost of their $50k wedding and immigration covered. Ridiculous!

Random people put money into strangers gofundme accounts to help with household bills? I always thought it was for people with extraordinary bills due to tragedy.

For CR1 and IR1 there ARE no actual packets three or four. It's old terminology but still used for K visas as a tool to understand a timeline. Study the NVC shortcuts and download the interview instructions from the applicable US Consulate's website. The interview instructions ARE packet 4. The NVC process is the packet three stage but it's much more than a packet.

I´m sorry about the silly question but what does it mean to review the DS-261 over the phone or to unlock it? I´m so lost

Today my husband had his CR1 interview. He had to wait close to 5 HOURS before it was finally his turn, but when he was called in to talk with the consulate, he wasn't asked even one question. We went through a K1 visa process in 2014, then back for CR1 now (long story), When he went in, he saw it was the same person who interviewed him for the K1. The consulate smiled and said, "Welcome back. We meet again!" then he told him, "Congratulations! You're on your way back to your wife! I hope this time everything works out great." and then gave him back our evidence of relationship that we sent to USCIS and NVC, and the approval document. My husband was baffled that he wasn't asked even one question! God is great! I'm so thankful we're approved! I have to keep pinching myself! Thank you to everyone who prayed for us! <3

How is it now that soooooo many August and September filers are just breezing through TSC (not just those from the Philippines) while those of us from earlier in the year (I'm a March filer) are just SITTING THERE?? There has to be a lot more to your story. If your father's arrest was a "misunderstanding" and it wasn't domestic violence then why didn't your mother defend him?
From what I understand, your dad has been in the US illegally for 15 years and he was 4 years in jail for domestic violence. He abused the immigration system and he was in jail. Letting a person like him stay would be a slap in the face to all the legal immigrants who came here following the immigration law to the letter. You are an adult. You can get a job and support your mom.

Seems to me that providing the government with your actual, current passport number would only make sense. I'm curious why you think being a homosexual couple is relevant to having lost your passport.

Sure there are some RFEs that can't be avoided, but how about listing the simple ones that can be avoided.
