I see people talking about packet 3 and 4 and I see it on some timelines. What are these packets and what needs to be done with these?

Finally we all three together. We are happy :)

For CR1 and IR1 there ARE no actual packets three or four. It's old terminology but still used for K visas as a tool to understand a timeline. Study the NVC shortcuts and download the interview instructions from the applicable US Consulate's website. The interview instructions ARE packet 4. The NVC process is the packet three stage but it's much more than a packet.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
