thespoons got a reaction from Asia in Dealing with neighbors...
Lol. So far the only instance they annoyed me after my first post was when they parked on their yard but they had to drive around the community mailbox (haha the mailbox is on their yard). They had to use our driveway so that they can park behind that mailbox. I shouldve moved my car to the other side of our driveway to block his way out... that wouldve been awesome.

Yeah, i've talked to them a few times these past couple of months and they are still doing it but not daily like before. We ended up parking one of our cars on the driveway instead of inside the garage to make sure they know that they can't park even partially in front of the driveway.
And now they opted to park just in front of our house and NOT in front of their house (maybe bc of the tree shade, idk) It just annoys me, i guess they don't know common courtesy... and to top it off, they are not friendly at all!

thespoons reacted to Cloudy9 in applying jobs online
I was also a Robert Half temp. They were very good to me and I was placed in two 2 jobs before the third one hired me after my 1 week with them. I didn't know at the time but they were already thinking of hiring another RH temp but I was doing double the work compared to them and they choose me. I've been with that comp now 9 years. 2 years ago we got another RH temp for an assignment and we were impressed with his experience and hired him as well. Good luck.

Lol. Cookies will not cure my ignorance because i still did not talk to him to know his situation. I should just invite him to our home and let him stay with us forever. Maybe then some person wont think he is a better catholic than me and wont call me ignorant.

You can be an advocate for this guy but I am not going to let you call me an ignorant because I am scared. If you don't have anything to say that will help just stop posting. Thanks.

Do i really need to know his situation and life story just so you cannot call me ignorant? As i've said it is rude to call anyone ignorant (even you didnt mean stupid). You used it in a very derogatory way because if you didn't, you could have just said that me being scared is INCORRECT. For me, people who call other people IGNORANT just wanted to come off as more intelligent or just a better person than others especially on forums like this. It is a very rude and snobby thing to say especially to a person who's just sacred for her safety.
And as for me talking to him, i would definitely listen to my husband and just not do it. Lol i am already too scared of him just being parked there and looking around our neighborhood let alone me talking to him.
I am just waiting for the 72 hour mark (which is going to be tom around this time), and call the police AGAIN.

thespoons got a reaction from decocker in Todays grads may not be able to retire until 75
Ooooh. For us, it is about working. We can't really travel given that he works for the state and it's really hard to get vacation time approved as its based on tenure (old people who work for the gov't seem to not want to retire at all and they get all the vacation time they want) hahaha!

Lol. My husband and I would definitely retire when we are 55. We're still deciding if it's s good idea to retire in the phippines or not. But we definitely dont want to work another day when we turn 55

We filed our aos without any bank documents or life insurance. So far we havent received any rfe (but who knows). For your peace of mind, file your aos even without those documents. Those are just secondary evidences anyway. The initial evidences are the important ones whic am sure you will before you submit your aos. Goodluck!

thespoons got a reaction from DaNnE in Mother's name on BC different from G-325A
Hello you should have used the name of your mom that is on YOUR birth certificate. COs can be very particular about inconsistent stuff (but ive never read anyone having this same dilemma as yours). Anyway, its your interview and its you who is coming to the us (and your identity they need to verify) so i believe this may not be a problem all. Just in case they ask about it, you should bring the affidavit (NSO is still much better though). Goodluck!
