All this shows is a lot of voters are stupid, though we can be hopeful that those who googled this didn't vote. We can be realistic and know that isn't the case.
The more attention I pay to politics the more I believe that the average joe without any mandatory and proven level of interest in politics should not be able to vote.
Vehemently disagree that democracies are made better by increasing the number of people who vote, given that time and again we have loads and loads of proof that they have no idea what they are doing when they express an opinion at the ballot box.

I hope they vote to leave and if I were in England still it would be my vote. The kumbaya let's all hold hands rubbish touted by the progressive political class has gone crazy in recent years and hopefully this would be a step away from that for England, while as in the past the rest of Europe burns. That is, however, assuming that leaving will actually be a step toward a stronger border. But at least it will give the elected officials more direct power.
Enough experts think it would be bad for the economy at least short term that I'm inclined to believe them (though "disaster" as some predict seems hyperbolic). I would be willing personally to suffer some financial loss for a stronger sovereignty, though, and I would move in a similar direction in the US. I really believe borders have meaning.
But, to be honest, I've not paid much attention to Brexit and can't say anything more than the two paragraphs ahead

    "Crooked Hillary".
She truly is shady as all get out and her email scandal shows what absolutely terrible judgement she has when she is motivated by self interest and puts that self-interest ahead of everything else. Plus it helps remind us of some unequivocal lies she's told about her behavior with it.
If the dems lose in November, they really do have themselves to blame. I think Biden could have trounced the hell out of Trump, and unless he went full retard on guns like Hillary is trying to do, I would personally have voted for him over Trump (most likely). As it is, I plan on sitting this one out while secretly hoping Trump wins. Dems have never fully grappled with how hated Hillary is and how poor a candidate she is. The way they see trump? Yep, that's how republicans see Hillary. Hopefully that can help them understand.

I don't think this will cause a recession (except for within the UK). For one, its going to take a long time to properly disconnect from the EU and the UK government still has alot of power to determine exactly what the final agreements are.
IMO tomorrow and next week are going to be bad marketwise here in the US but thats about it.
Of course I do think we will see a recession soon...but not for a few more quarters and like you said unrelated to the UK.

For me personally denying somebody a constitutional right who has not even been charged with a crime is a non-starter. It's a complete non-negotiable position and I would not move from it. It's very sad that the success of 911 in making the US act like a moron has come to the point where half of Washington is ready to deny somebody a constitutional right just because they are on a list, with unknown criteria and a list from which it is very difficult if not impossible to be removed. Once we deny them the second, we could deny them the first, or any other amendments as well.

Another rubbish stat; muslims make up a tiny percent of americans. Here's a fun stat. Why don't you compare the number of people in the US who are muslim (1%) to the number of people killed in America by muslim terrorists in the past couple of decades.
Have fun explaining why muslims are wildly overrepresented in terror killings in the US without admitting the premise of the first post is nonsense. The first post's premise is akin to saying more people die in swimming polls than those who die playing russian roulette; ergo, russian roulette is safer than swimming polls.

I absolutely reject the idea we should ban purchase of a gun to anybody simply for being on the list unless they have a definite, clear, predictable recourse to challenge being on it. As it is now it is a secret list and you're on it for secret reasons with secret people who decided it and we cannot accept a situation in which a secret court without transparency can deny a constitutional right. There are a million people on this list. Really a million potential terrorists? I don't buy it. ACLU's position on the terror list is spot on.
Oh, and also for fun the hillary meme, she wants people investigated by the FBI blocked from buying guns, but not her being blocked from being POTUS? No

ExPatty got a reaction from Marc_us82 in Separated 4 months after Marriage. Well that was fun
I snipped most of your post, but I appreciate the honesty and the fact you know exactly what happened and don't seem to make an excuse for it. There are sooooo many examples on these forums of people marrying from another country and the marriage being an absolute train wreck from day one. It happens stateside, too, but you don't have the immigration factor to worry about nor any sense of feeling rushed by the distance nor, it should be said, the romanticism of marrying somebody from another country and sweeping them off their feet back to the US.
It's so obvious she is using you and you're not in love with each other. Hopefully you'll realize that soon and dissolve the marriage. It was never an honest marriage anyway, you were a mark from day one. Stop wasting time with her, it will just be a deeper hole to climb out of later.
Man, it's hard to have sympathy for you now. I mean, I really want to, but how can you not see what's going on? You're still weighing your options? Your only realistic option is to completely cut ties as quickly and efficiently as possible. You are nothing but income now as she lives the good life in manhattan on your dollar. Agree with earlier comment about protecting yourself from possible domestic abuse accusations as well. Record all conversations you have with her from here on. That means keep all emails, texts, and if you speak on the phone record the audio of everything. This is not an overreaction but a pragmatic action based on what you're telling us.

A better question is what is there to like about her? She is patronizing, an established liar and opportunist, and deeply entrenched in an establishment that has continued to let the middle and lower classes of the US fall off a cliff in recent years.
Even a huge number of democrats think she is only relevant because her husband was president and she feels it is her turn owed to her. And now she is under criminal investigation. And people dare ask why she is disliked?

By a reasonable study of the evidence the shooting of TM was justified. That doesn't change the fact that GZ is clearly a huge ahole. The amount he has antagonized since the acquittal is well below any level of decency.

Another link for you, this from the US Justice Department asserting the same:
    http://www.justice.gov/crt/about/osc/htm/engperliwdiss.php
" Employers may not refuse to hire refugees and asylees because their work authorization contains a future expiration date."
BTW, I hope that what you have from your HR department is written. In fact, before you go back to them ask them to email you or write a letter about why they are doing this. Otherwise, if you go guns blazing they may come up with another excuse, so you need to ensure they specify in writing why they cannot hire you. Unfortunately PA is not a one-party consent state for audio recording, so recording a phone call won't be sufficient/legal for you to do.
    Oh looky what I found:
    http://www.employmentmattersblog.com/2015/01/beyond-u-s-citizens-and-lawful-permanent-residents-are-other-classes-of-individuals-legally-authorized-to-work-protected-from-employment-discrimination/
This case matches yours precisely, found for the plaintiff.
Please don't lose a job because your company is breaking the law and you don't bother telling them they are. Best of luck!
    And:
    http://www.eeoc.gov/laws/types/nationalorigin.cfm
But as I said, the company--if they didn't tell you this in writing--can subsequently pretend they don't want you for any reason at all. I don't trust HR very much. This is why if possible you get something from them in writing, so that you can then throw this back at them. Otherwise, they could say you're "not a good match" or whatever, and the real reason gets lost in the murk.
