The Democratic Party is selling gun control like ####### Cheney. That's a problem.

When it comes to terrorism, this is precisely the logic of belligerent neoconservatism. We can't have freedom, it's too risky. Others went even further. Here's supposed progressive hero Elizabeth Warren:

.@ChrisMurphyCT said it right: The @SenateGOP have decided to sell weapons to ISIS.

Object to this bill on due process grounds, and you're basically in league with ISIS. If Cheney were going to sell gun policy, that's how he would do it.

Republicans having been dicking with America for a very long time now. They refuse any form of gun control, even if the laws being suggested are just a fig leaf. Children shouldn't die, just because their parents are idiots, and refuse to place their guns in a secure safe. People out enjoying themselves, shouldn't have to worry about some fool carrying a lethal weapon, because Republicans were afraid the guys rights were being under mined by the indignity of having to wait for a back ground check.

You have to wonder if the real agenda is to never have any meaningful gun reform leading with such an absurd ridiculous Bill makes one wonDer.

Same thing with assault style weapons. They are such a tiny percent of the problem, and if everyone was gone tomorrow it would have no measurable effect on gun deaths.

Yet the Dems always lead with issues that are sure to be voted down and will bolster the Nra roles by many 1000s. There will be another ammo shortage and gun sales will sky rocket.

anybody that would be ok with giving the govt the authority to place people on a secret list and deny them rights based on that list, must have been knocked in the head. There can't be enough morons in the country to think that is a good idea.

History people.

You do realize that if we banned AR-15 style weapons and put people on a secret list, nothing you are talking about above would change one Iota

Right, but Republicans won't continence any form of gun control. They seem to believe that the way to solve gun crime, is for everyone to carry a gun.

Because proposing putting people on secret list , that have not be proven to have committed any infraction is a batcrap crazy absurd idea. Who in their right mind would give our govt that much power over our liberties, when they have been proven time and time again to fail every time in regard to be given too much power .
