I came in through same-sex marriage with K1 visa. He may place a supreme court judge who could overturn that. I'm still on AOS. I hope his win doesn't affect us negatively. ?

He won't do anything unless it's about illegal immigration. Don't worry as long as you are doing it the right way.

    hi
no, he can't change anything, and also, he starts in January, and the new members of Congress voted as well
Congress is the only one who can change immigration laws
    so don't worry

Be careful about sending your package before your filing date. If you are eligible to file on there 10th, that is the day you should send your application. Packages have been returned due to filing before the opening of the 90-day window. I would not risk an unnecessary delay. Good luck!

If you do not send via usps, then you must find the physical address for the uscis service center. Couriers do not deliver to PO boxes. Most people use USPS for this with no issues.

I have always used USPS Priority Mail (not Express) in the past. You can track your package all the way. As opposed to next day, it takes 1 ~ 3 days, which in the big scheme of things is really not a big delay. But you can also send USPS Express.
As others have mentioned, mail your package the day your 90-day window opens not early. In the last few weeks some VisaJourney members reported USCIS returning their package received even a day early.

The vermont address is a physical address - the PO box number is for internal use.
California not sure (as I didn't file there)

I used USPS certified shipping, it arrived in two days safe and sound. This is also how we sent our original I-130 petition.

I always use USPS flat rate priority mail boxes, never an issue with delivery and it will hold all that poundage of paper without adding extra cost.

If you want to be extra careful, just add signature confirmation in top of tracking number and use 2 day flat shipping from USPS.

Well since they're delivering to a P.O. BOX, USPS is your best bet.
You don't want UPS or Fedex returning your package because they couldn't deliver to a P.O BOX.
In most cases though, UPS or Fedex will hand it over to the local post office in that area when it's a P.O. Box and USPS will do the delivery.

Every courier has their flaws. I used to rely on USPS but my AOS package was considered lost when last week, I still didn't had an update on where my package was. Tracker had not update since Oct. 14
Luckily, we got my NOA's Saturday and USPS called today to tell me they could not find my package in the two weeks they investigated if it was delivered and I could tell them I had my confirmation of them receiving it. It happens, can happen to every courier.

Also, you do not need to include photos of US Citizen and Permanent Resident Spouse and copies of SS cards. If possible include tax transcripts and not tax returns. Rest of the package looks good to me.

I'm smiling at your list, because I included information about our cat in our package! You have some things in the first section which are NOT necessary (like a copy of the passports and your marriage certificate), but otherwise, it looks like you are heading in the right direction.
Even if they aren't in your package, I urge you to take care of wills and medical powers of attorney as soon as you can. Those are very important pieces of paper for your life!
I think you might have one typo that you could fix. I think the word you want is "surcharge" not "Su-charge".
    Good luck to you!

Here is the link for getting tax transcripts from IRS:
    https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript?_ga=1.118379534.647415615.1476980732
You can either get it online and then print it out immediately or get the transcript by mail. We got ours by mail. We had some problem getting it online.

Go to irs.gov and print out your income tax return transcripts. Those prove not only that you filed, but that they were accepted by the IRS. YOu could also do a walk-in to your nearest IRS office for a paper copy. Your TurboTax print out is not enough. Good luck!
