Just woke up to an approval. NOA1 Dec 20. NOA2 September 26. Yesterday I got a response that they couldn't give me a timeframe for my case and that got me upset. One day later it got approved. So happy right now.

APPROVED!!! Finally we got approved! I'm so excited! I am so ready for the next stage. Thank you guys so much for your positive thoughts, support and most of all your prayers! I will continue to pray for you.

People should sign of for this free service from the Post office.   They let you know you have mail coming up to a week ahead of delivery with a scanned image of your mail.  Would be very useful waiting for that delivery.    Its called "informed Delivery"

You don't have to put *how* you met.  We didn't.   We simply listed the dates of our many visits, and provided passport stamps as primary evidence.  
 
Also, long story, but we sent in documents pertaining to two past divorces five months after filing; a divorce absolute and a full divorce decree.   The documents originally sent in with the petition contained only a certified copy of a divorce certificate and a letter from a foreign court stating that the decree absolute had been located (and the date of the divorce).
 
We sent it with a copy of the NOA1, and a cover letter very clearly explaining the nature of the documents.  
 
Approved with no RFE in 185 days.
 
 

Wait for RFE. 

The only difference they will see is now 3 additional years of us constantly communicating and several more vacations together.    Her child is a slow learner, we simply thought it was best to get her past elementary school.  It will be tough for her learning English.     I'm not too much worried about scrutiny and more about timeline.     

Wow, this link with a list of cases gives good insight for reasons of denial. Pretty straight forward why most people were denied.
