Natonstan got a reaction from JOMA in Case Was Received At My Local Office
Don't get your hopes up just yet, a few people have found out this may just be a glitch.

Not necessarily an interview at all, there's been hundreds of us that have got that status over the past few days, we've had conflicting reports, some people are calling and getting told it's a glitch while others are calling and being told it's due to workloads at the service centres.

The so-called updates have been showing up since Friday, perhaps earlier. The least USCIS management could do is post a news update to either confirm the transfers and the logic behind it, or own up to a glitch. The Tier 1 reps must be going crazy with all the calls related to the transfers.
Someone in the USCIS chain of command must know what exactly is going on.

Same here, I will not assumed until there is official announcement from them.

Natonstan reacted to Scazy in Case Was Received At My Local Office
Guys i just got a called back from Tier 2
First, he said the case is indeed transferred at local office and he sees what i see - status about transfer ( just like they see fee waived glitch from other WAC, and if i dont correct that i have not filed any fee waiver and its a glitch, they think i did because thats what it shows on a screen)
Then i asked him how come thousands cases got tranferred from cervice centers to officess and he goes like oh you know other ppl with same exact status? Then that must be a glitch, let me see. After a brief hold ive been told that 1 system is showing that it was transfered, and another that case is still at CSC.
He said its uncler where is my case as it showing 2 differenrt things at their systems. He went ahead and created a service request at CSC to see if they in a posession of my case, will hear back in 2 weeks.
I think service request is the only thing that would clarify if the case still at cervice center or not, as infornation should go directly from CSC
Moral of the story: Tier 2 officers jusat like us are nor able to see whee exactly the case at currently. The "workload transfer" is just a personal guess, not an actual information.
My bet is on glitch. Went through all that with "fees waived" thing.

I was wondering which Tracking number was giving them the "card being produced", so it's the old one that we get the Fee's waived error, that makes sense.

Because a person could have been approved at cervice center and still get a glitch as even after approval case is still pending until your green card is produced

Ditto, same message here On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXX, at your local office

Let's hope its a mistake. Its pretty disgusting if not. I can't help wondering though if this is not a mistake, they have done this to cover their own backs from multiple complaints about being past the service time, or perhaps that is where they were as of 30 Sept? I guess we shall all find out mid month when the processing times get updated.

Just got back from a trip home, had no issues using my extention letter, he took it from me, typed away at his computer, looked at my expired green card then said "Welcome back". Cannot wait for all this to be over but I suppose a lot of us will be eligible to apply for citizenship in December

I agree with your reasoning and what is to be noted here is that they did take full fees money from all

Ohhh snap! Didn't know that! I was going to wait until after I got my 10 year to apply for Citizenship, but now ill do just that, I would have been married well over 3 years.
But I agree I really hope we all get ours before our extension expires! Then we can breathe a little easier.

Processing times changed just by 2 days from June 7th 2016 to June 9th 2016 after 1 month. With the current icy rate at which this is going it will be a cold day in hell even in December for us to start seeing approvals. Get your N 400's ready and send them in December once you 90 day window opens.

Yeah, around a year seems to be the norm these days. At the beginning of this I honestly thought this was gonna be a 6 month thing at most, but now I'm going to be very surprised to hear anything before December. But thats a long time from now, who knows, maybe things will get better and USCIS will pick up the pace. Or maybe it'll get worse, it's anyones guess haha

I think a couple months ago they were processing May 29 2016 applications, now they're on June 7 2016. Months for them to process a weeks worth of applications. Pretty crazy

I don't believe you can get an EU passport/citizenship without moving here first. Luckily the EU is more favourable to spouses of EU citizens. My wife is American and I am Irish, initially after she moved here she had to apply for permission to stay and these were granted every three months without fuss but no work permit. Eventually we got married and she gained full rights and access to work or social benefits within Ireland instantly. You need at least 5 years rekonable residence or at least 3 years married to be able to apply for citizenship.
The rules are consistent across most of the countries and basic laws are mandated by the head of the EU.

Errrr.... Getting a passport for a foreign country might be more difficult than you think, lol. Assuming you want to live in the Switzerland. You will apparently need about 10 years or residency first. http://lenews.ch/2015/04/22/7-step-guide-to-getting-a-swiss-passport/
Dunno about the visa for the US citizen. Since you will need one first.

Natonstan reacted to Mollie09 in Applied for removal of conditions 1 year ago, they ask for additional evidence but now I qualify for Naturalization. What to do?
Also, the process hasn't taken "between 3 and 6 months" in a very long time, and you don't have to be done with the ROC to apply for naturalization.
Please don't post if you're not familiar with the process.
