They are on a K1 so no I130 is needed. The fee is $1070 including bio fee. Make sure you do EAD and AP at the same time then no extra cost

Dont rely on travel insurance, it's not meant for people emigrating, and they max trip length may be 60 days or similar.

when you get a new passport you get the old one back with the corner cut off. Do you need a passport to get a police cert, you do not in UK but have no idea about aus. You might need a copy of it so get some done.

No problem, why would another country care about a US visa, anyway within the EU they will hardly look at the passport of a UK citizen.
I would advise you to file for AP and EAD along with your AoS as it will come through in 2-3 months whereas the GC may take a year and he will be stuck in the US and unable to work. Costs nothing extra if you file all 3 together so why not do it?

This from someone who got their NOA2 in 6 weeks!
It takes as long as it takes. As the figures that Nick-Nich states, London are rather busy. Your timeline shows that you have added to that wait in London by not responding to stuff that quickly. I'm not sure why you are complaining about London when it took you almost 3 weeks to send in your packet 3.
That's kind of my rant over. After going through this all last year and taking 9 months to get out NOA2, I get a little pee'd off by seeing other people post 'I got my NOA1 2 months ago. Why haven't I got my NOA2 when I see other people getting it who applied after me'.

I doubt they will care about something that happened when you were 14. There was a bloke on here "chrisclassic" who was worried to death about something similar, he got his K1 no problem, they just said we don't care about that.

    Just a reminder here . . .
Organizers are volunteers who are part of the administration team. Their responsibility is to identify posts or comments that are misplaced or poorly placed, and then relocate them to a forum where the 'fit' is better.
While your comment could have remained in the K-1 forum as you are posting about a problem you are having in trying to complete the K-1 process, the problem you are having is not so much related to the K-1 process but to a specific issue with the US Consulate in the UK and their use - or lack of use - of couriers. Your question was seen as being more country specific than process specific, and it would be most likely for you to get the information you need from someone else who is familiar with that Consulate. The Organizer involved is aware that many of our more experienced UK members - the ones most likely to have a response to your question - have generally moved on from the K-1 forum to the next part of their process. Many of them, however, do read and post in the UK regional forum and by moving your question here, he was hoping to provide you with access to a greater, more knowledgeable audience than you would have had available in the K-1 forum.
That being said, the post could have been left in the K-1 forum but the Organizer was trying to do you a favour.

Yes really, have you seen the price of a half decent bit of cheese? How about buying spices and the like? And bread, its horrible if you try cheap and any decent bread is getting on for $4.
House prices where we are are not cheap, we got ours for just under $400,000 and it's nothing special, 3 bed detached no garage. If you want bigger or better then you need $700,000.
Car insurance for her BMW is around $650 where as my TT in the UK was £350 so not too far off but what about house insurance!!!! Ours is $1600 whereas I was paying about £250 in the UK.

proper pubs, proper shops for food not supermarkets, there is no butcher or fishmonger anywhere near where i live now.
The NHS, listening to the radio, funny shows on TV, there seems to be nothng funny on telly here.
I miss how cheap stuff is in the UK, food prices here are horrendous. in fact everything is expensive, health care, insurance for anything such as house insurance. The local city taxes, wow bring back the council tax, far cheaper in the UK.
Pub food is better in the UK, everything here seems to be fried or covered in crappy cheese.

I had my K1 interview in London in Sept. I took the affadavit of support form (cant remember the number I 134 or similar) and the last 2 years tax transcripts. Thats all I took and it was fine. Best place to look is on the UK subforum on here for stuff specific to London.

I came on K1, got married and filed for GC, EAD and AP with a date of 4 Nov. So 54 days now and nothing so far other than the NOA1's which are all dated 4 Nov. So I cannot work here yet or go abroad to work and come back. Hope this gives you an idea from someone who is in the process you are talking about right now.
