nobbie reacted to Harpa Timsah in How to get passport out of K-1 packet
I don't understand why anyone would offer help when all you get in return is "I just want the right answer, not your answer."

nobbie got a reaction from Kathryn41 in K1 Visa Sealed Envelope
all the paperwork you have already submitted plus your medical report. Apart from the medical nothing you have not already seen.
Nothing mysterious about it, just their way of using you to get the paperwork to the US. CBP will open it at POE, check it and they will forward it to USCIS.

nobbie reacted to Harpa Timsah in AOS - It has been 30 days and have not received anything yet
If you used an agency, I bet they also sent it later than they said. That is a common problem.
If they sent it to California, fire them because that was wrong and they should know better.
Good luck. From what you said, there are many possible reasons for the delay. It can take up to 30 from when the package is sent to the right place to get a receipt. Add some time for wrong place or late shipment.

nobbie reacted to TheCaptain in Found out my husband had been lying to me in the middle of Interview.
Why are people ok with condoning visa fraud by informing the OP to continue with the process knowing that she is not entering a bonafied marriage?!?!?
We take a hard stand when it is the beneficiary who has done the wrong thing but when it is the petitioner who has been bad it's the complete opposite and we condone continuing with the process and taking the visa, getting green card and divorcing!?!?!

nobbie reacted to Eric-Pris in Found out my husband had been lying to me in the middle of Interview.
"Divorce this loser"? I'm not sure how anybody could give that advice without knowing more about what she thinks is so horrible to warrant a divorce?
So basically, the advice is get your greencard and IMMEDIATELY file for divorce. Yeah, that won't look suspicious...

Man at Waitrose myself, hard to beat them,

nobbie reacted to Merrytooth in Is USC's Birth Certificate required at interview?
Then you should not comment in this thread to confuse the OP further since the USC's birth certificate is needed for unique Philippines CFO Seminar, totally different from the London K1 visa process.

nobbie got a reaction from f&c in bringing birth control
Shove them in your checked luggage, should be fine.
I brought my vasectomy with me, no problems. No-one asked to look in my bag!!
-
nobbie got a reaction from Merrytooth in Is USC's Birth Certificate required at interview?
No they do not, those at the top of this thread are wrong.
Read the list of docs required for K1 on the London embassy website, it's not there.

nobbie got a reaction from Snag in 40 day till K-1 Visa expires; Fiancee doesn't want to marry. Options?
This needs it's own thread, people are answering but it's not clear if this is related to the OPs situation or another story altogether, I suspect the latter.
if you marry outside the US then you file for spouse visa, if tha'ts what you are asking, and yes it will be valid unless its some weird cult or religion I guess.

nobbie reacted to Hotter Otter in What's your back-up plan?
Well I'd put more faith in bringing all the required documents to the interview than prayer, but ok.
-
nobbie reacted to Harpa Timsah in What's your back-up plan?
Could you distill from his post the message that he was trying to give you, instead of telling him to sod off?

nobbie reacted to KayDeeCee in After got married , what will I do next??? please help
This is not the first time I have seen you post a link to the wrong guide. Please stop posting that link and instructing people to follow it, if that is not the correct guide for their case. This forum is for those adjusting from a family based visa, such as a K visa. Those adjusting from a K-1 visa, such as the OP, do not follow that guide. The correct guide for someone adjusting from a K-1 is this, and was already posted above in this thread > http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

nobbie got a reaction from Ketsuban in London Medical - Knightsbridge Doctors
There's a bog there, it's a doctors, people have to give samples sometimes and they don't make them stand in the hallway

nobbie got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Is our DS-3025 sufficient for AOS or do we need the I-693?
I am in the same boat as the OP, I submitted my paperwork in Nov and have heard nothing back so far (apart from NOA1 and probable interview waiver). If I get an RFE for a jab I will deal with it then.

nobbie got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Is our DS-3025 sufficient for AOS or do we need the I-693?
Paperclip with AoS stuff I think. I just sent a copy on the grounds that I assume they have it the original anyway in the packet of stuff with the medical results

nobbie reacted to Not a Tailor in INTERVIEW FOR GREENCARD
First, if you could please hit the key that is directly to the left of your 'a' key and shut off capslock, that would be really great.
Second, please fill out your timeline so people know where your interview is taking place--this makes a big difference in average processing times.

nobbie reacted to Boiler in Knightsbridge now denies on past Depression/Self-harm
Not if they are familiar with the OP's previous posts.

nobbie got a reaction from Nich-Nick in Medical Questionaire
I just put it all down, adenoids out in 1964 for example, well that's all I have ever been in hospital for..
What are usual domestic accidents, I have never been to hospital for one of those

nobbie got a reaction from Harpa Timsah in Sending AOS off tomorrow, last minute checks
Why do you not need AP, apply for it anyway, costs nothing so just do it . You may need AP, you never know.
-
nobbie got a reaction from sweet cakes in Very urgent need you help AOS rejected
They are on a K1 so no I130 is needed. The fee is $1070 including bio fee. Make sure you do EAD and AP at the same time then no extra cost
