No folder or binder. They will just undo what you did and throw away the binder.

I just used paperclips for my petition. Just put all the papers in an envelope and mailed it.

What did you send you information in on your first initial submission?

What you mention above is exactly what I did. The reasoning I used was all of my documents remained together and had a very small risk of being misplaced, lost, etc... Even if the USCIS has a need to remove any of the documents for whatever reason there is a better chance that they will be replaced in the folder and, again, not misplaced, lost, etc... I used a folder for the I-129F, AOS, and ROC. It is my plan to use the folder again for the Citizenship petition. Maybe this helped in not getting an interview at the AOS or ROC stages. The petitions were just approved, but I did make sure to include everything that the USCIS did ask for.

Best of luck!

One where there was no need to punch holes in the documents. They are going to discard the biunders anyway and use their own, but at least this way the documents can be organized my way and stay that way when they go into their binders.

My initial packet was about 65 pages. I punched 2 holes in the top and used a ACCO metal fastner to hold it all together, but no binder. I aslo read a suggestion for using tabs, so I got some small stick on tabs I stuck on the bottom of some pages to mark the beginning of each section. I put everything in one of the cardboard, flat rate, USPS envelopes and sent it all in. I just got back from my Fiance's interview and saw that everything was in a ACCO style folder/binder.

you can use many paper clips to keep different documents separate keep it neat on top of the package use a large clamp on the lower part use a rubber ban. don't staple any thing. don't punch holes. let the uscis officers arrange it their way in their file.

Used paper clips to hold and divide different sections, held it all together with one big bulldog clip, and slipped it into an 8.5" x 11" plastic evenlope for protection.
