I don't exactly remember but it is more than a week but not more than 2 weeks when we received the visa. 
 
I remember the status in AP at first and then changed to Visa Issued after a few days. 
 
 

No. Thats all I submitted. If you apply for your kid’s  passport and only one parent is present you need the form which is a consent that the father or the other parent allow you to apply for your kid’s passport. He need the consent form get notarized too

I will be US Citizen soon. I have a 9 yr old son who will derive citizenship from me. I will apply for his passport and one of the requirements is an evidence or proof you were in a legal and physical custody of your U. S citizen parent.
My son is born out of wedlock but his father signed on his birth certificate and my son have his last name. But according to Philippines Family Code that the parental authority including custody will be on the  mother of an illegitimate child. I will have his father sign a consent DS 3053 form too. The father stop supporting him since I met my husband 6 years now. No communication between father and son. But I know where to contact him but I will never bother for that is not my problem anymore  i only emailed him  to ask to signthe  form and  He said he will sign the consent form.
 
Anyone here have the same issue. Does DS3053 Statement of Consent enough?

It depends on what health issue. Most of the applicant let say 80% will go through the sputum test, this is in the Philippines based on my experience too. My mom went back 3 consecutive days to collect sputum. The smear was negative but she need to wait til January 29 for the culture result. Why did she do all this. They saw a scar or abnormality on the xray. They want to make sure what that is. Ex. TB if postive they will treat her there. Negative they will continue the process which is approving his medical requirements to bring to the interview.

I just finished going through the process of proving legal custody of my daughter. I was married to her father and divorced him here in the US. It will help if aside from the DS3053, you get a notarized letter from the dad that he knows and doesn't object to your current custody arrangement  and the release of your child's passport and your travel plans and that he supports all your decisions regarding your child. You also need to contact a lawyer from the Philippines to write a letter that states that the law when in comes to custody of an illegitimate child in the Philippines.
 
We were once denied for the passport of my daughter because I only submitted a few paper works and then the DS3053. It can be a difficult process but it is what it is. I applied again and after 6 months, we now have my daughter's passport. Too much back and forth but don't give up on your paper work and you'll be fine.

While he may have earned the income, that number is also your income as reported on the tax returns. That's what they're looking for...an exact copy and paste of the income as listed on the tax returns. It doesn't matter who earned it for those boxes.

Hi there! I filed my petition for my mom last March 2018 and it got approved August 31 Texas Service Center. The processing time it depends on how fast or the workload of the service center where you will send the petition. I think US Embassy around the world provide interpreter. I told my mom that if she need an interpreter she can ask. But she said she will be fine. Im on the NVC step waiting for their email or letter confirmation for my petition. USCIS just sent my case to NVC last Monday.

You have to fill out the SS-5 form.  https://www.ssa.gov/forms/  I applied for my passport at the post office in Oakland.  I did not choose expedited services and still received in under 3 weeks.

My wife and I passed our interview yesterday at the San Francisco office. Both approved. The staff was very friendly and most time was spent on going through the application line by line. Basically confirming every item. We traveled a lot and she went through my passport and compared the passport stamps with the travel list I supplied. She did not ask for any further documentation: no passport photos, no tax transcripts or any other proof. Nothing besides my passport.

I had my interview in SF on 9/27 and Oath on 11/9, so I think that could be possible.

My interview is scheduled for Dec. 20th. AP was April 6th. Inline since Sept. 8th. Got the email notice on Nov 15th. I have not received the interview letter yet, but called them because I need to travel urgently. The L2 officer gave me the interview date.

You should hear something very soon.  It took me exactly 254 days from mailing N-400 (2/28/17) to Oath (11/9/17) in SF.
