The California center received my ROC package on Sept 1st, and I got my extension letter within about 10 days and my biometrics appointment letter came today for an appt in 2 weeks, so yeah, I'd say look into it.

If he was approved (and assuming he already has his visa), could you change the date he arrives to say, next week? (or make the flight for immediately after he receives his visa). That way you could get married in the next week or 2 and get AOS/AP started, that's the only way I can see you could more likely (still not guaranteed) have his documents prior to your December plans.

You don't need a US marriage certificate. Married in Egypt is married everywhere.

You can move your belongings a little at a time just fine, but not until after you, yourself, have officially crossed. You have 10 years after that to move all your stuff.

Yeah, just two cents' worth...If you really want to work on your marriage, I would suggest you stay and not move your things. I know you're hurting, but you can't be 100% prepared for any eventuality all the time.
If you love this man and there's the slightest chance you can forgive him, you kind of owe it to yourself to stay and figure it out. Maybe go home to visit your parents for a month, like someone else suggested. But don't move your stuff.

I agree with Udella. Showing up at the border with all your things they are going to ask you what's up.
They will be admitting you as a returning Canadian not a visitor, that would be enough for you to lose your GC. You can't be a resident in both Countries.
Go for a visit collect your thoughts, return to the US and if it's still too hard to face your husband ask him to stay with his family. Get into some sort of counseling asap, one for you alone and one as a couple.
My two cents, it already sounds like you checked out of your marriage. I don't blame you I've been in a similar situation also. One thing I can tell you family rarely tends to be helpful in these situations. You need a neutral party to talk with.

One of your earlier topics was about this child, i think. You were having serious doubts about your fiance bringing this child with him (which i assume you shared with him). Now suddenly, she shows up at the airport and gets pushed into your arms at the gate? And you take her with you? Crazy. Your naivete is frightening, and I just hope you don't get screwed in some serious and irrevocable way over all of this.

Yes, there are plenty of hoops to jump through in Canada too. Check out roadtocanada.com forums. Just seems it might be easier for the two of you to live in a country where at least one you is a citizen...

Also, "unconditional green card" is not exactly the right term. You are removing conditions in order to get a 10-year green card.

There is nothing wrong with using a lawyer if a person wants too. However to come on a DIY site where most people are seeking advice on how to do the process themselves and to say the process is to hard do not bother DIY hire a lawyer is not really good, considering it was the op mistake that it took longer for him, not because the process is that complicated.
