It's probably best you just move on. Why waste the time. I have notarized proof my last marriage was a fraud but am I going to waste the time dealing with that, no. What goes around comes around and you will just look like the worse person if you continue the pursuit of revenge. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Odds are you saw this coming and ignored the signs.

It didn't sound that bad to me. My fiance was in same boat, never been to a Dr in her life before the exam. I would just ignore it, it's hard to really know with out the tone of voice but sometimes people just take things the wrong way. It will only get worse in the US because here it is crazy weird that you haven't seen a doctor, I sure wish I had never seen a doctor. Good luck with the visa, don't sweat the small stuff!

It can't hurt to apply and it's cheap. I'm about to do same thing for my sister-in-law. I told her don't get her hopes up but I will do what I can to make it happen. I personally think they do things backwards, they force you to do visa for family members for permanent stay which makes no sense. I certainly don't want my fiances family here I wouldn't have been looking half way around the world if I did... ha ha. I think before marriage is harder than to after myself, but just depends who you get.

Think very hard before you bring a bar girl here, you are playing with fire. A bar girl has to be the most degrading thing a girl could possibly do, it will scar her for life not to mention the feelings you might keep from it. You have to do what makes you happy at the end of the day but I'm sure you can find a girl who has not done something like that. For those of you unsure what a bar girl is you can google it. I've met "good girls" that got visas and came here and became strippers, but they would never consider being a bar girl. Because their society placed the bar so low, stripping is not all that bad in their head. Please for your own sake think very hard before you do something like that, it may sound good now but it will most likely not end well.

That's funny I wouldn't be on an internet forum saying your son was wondering in the woods and nobody knew that he had left. That's called child neglect and endangerment. Not knowing where your 2 year old is, isn't something to be proud of. I can pretty much guarantee the number of people who would think the worse parent is the one who let a 2 year old wander through the woods, rather than the one who had a 17 year old that was bad at knowing the names of streets.

Yup I agree with what you are saying. It's hard to blame the children, but if we told them you have to leave for 2 years and then we will let you back with a path to become a citizen it would make a lot more sense and they will learn a lesson. Anything that comes too easy won't be respected. I'm very extreme on most issues because I believe that often the most extreme remedies are the ones that work the best. If the death penalty was given to any illegal alien caught the problem would end immediately. Who would stay in a country with the risk to face death. Why we waste time securing borders and coming up with solutions when to me it seems to simple. I've "illegaly" crossed the border, true it's not illegal technically because I'm a citizen but even as a citizen they want us to cross at a check point.
I'm just about to finish my fiance visa and my fiance will be here in probably 3 weeks. I did everything by the book and waited, much longer than I thought it would take. Even though she is in the Philippines I could still very easily have gotten her here. I have plenty of friends with planes and boats that would never get checked with 1 extra passenger, but why would I want to start a relationship with breaking a law? If I was ok with that it would be reasonable to say I might be more inclined to break other laws I thought were ok to break. I really think kids are a reflection of their parents, so I don't really think they get this free pass because it wasn't their fault.
One of my step kids is an illegal immigrant, well was. He is literally the best kid in the US and probably the world. I like to think that is because of me but probably not he's just a really good kid. So there are exceptions to the rule. But he would be just fine had he needed to go back and wait a year or two in his country and he would appreciate things her a heck of a lot more. I have first hand knowledge of what the illegal community is, and it is sickening. I understand why they do it, and I don't blame them because it is our governments fault for allowing it to happen. BTW the USA is not a free country, Mexico is much much more free than the USA. If you really want to know what free is Dominican Republic is as free as it comes. I can't wait until the day comes that I can afford to live in Mexico, that is why I don't want a secure border because it locks me in just as much as it locks them out. Better to make them decide to stay out.

Well you obviously have a hard time reading, I specifically told someone that dream act is not about kids born here, they are already citizens. Your post makes no sense, so being the best place to live in the world makes it only fair that people want to come and destroy it? I'm not sure if you even read my post, I never implied that the USA wasn't founded by immigrants. I really don't understand the point to your post, so if the illegal immigrants take over the USA someday they will write history books and they will sound like heros? Basically you wrote to tell me things I said wrong, but yet I said them correctly and you just didn't understand it... You are more likely to be a criminal if you are raised by a criminal, you can argue that but other than that it's pretty straight forward. People should not be rewarded when they do something wrong it is something nobody can argue against.

Dream act is a horrible idea! First of all you have children being raised by criminals, the child is more likely to exhibit criminal activities because of that. I've seen first hand how poorly our system is manipulated and the life squeezed out of it by people who come here and say they need to break the laws to live and make money to raise their family. And that is the major problem that will never be fixed. You have millions of people breaking the law that justify doing it. They are essentially saying some laws are breakable if they need to be broken. I believe when it gets to that point then you have to overthrow the government, instead of them working on theirs they came to our lenient system to get away with what they could. I believe our country was founded by immigrants, I just believe it should be done in a legal way and once they come here illegally they have basically already become a criminal. It's like the pot debate, it really does no harm but they call it the gateway drug to try other more serious things. Well being an illegal is a gateway criminal offense. If you don't believe this it will only take one event to change your mind same with the gun debate actually. If anyone ever breaks into your house and you are against guns you will change your mind quick. If someone uses your social security number just because they feel it necessary to work, good luck dealing with that mess. Now I don't disagree that there are people who come here and live a very upstanding life. But they still did it illegally. What's funny is that the "latino" vote is supposedly driving this reform. But latin people that came here legally are most likely not for the dream act, they feel it is unfair that they did things the right way and others get rewarded for bad behavior. So do illegals really not vote? Anyone that agrees with the Dream act does not have a grasp of what is really happening in our country. There are millions of babies born with illegal parents who get full benefits of a legal citizen the moment the child is born. I think that is more than enough reward for criminals. We don't have the best education system in the world so saying it was done for the children isn't something I buy. It was done because it's the easiest place to live off the government and get away with criminal activities. Until our government gets rid of the honor system it will be taken advantage of especially by those who took advantage of it just to live here.

I like how I get responses in a regional discussion from people doing visa in other countries... I could have found a wife from any country in the world, there is a reason I picked Philippines. Because they are traditional and although not all a great majority of the women prefer to be house wives. I have obviously asked her what she wants to do with her life, she has no idea I'm trying to help get her a hobby/money making side gig. Darnell had a great idea actually that is something along the lines I am thinking. I do realize she needs a work permit for a real job, but I would prefer her not have a real job. Now if she can make as much as me and wants to work, then she can and I'll stay home and be a house husband... I definitely could keep myself occupied. I didn't think I'd get a feminist assault from the post that is for sure. I'm sure there's plenty of people in the same boat I'm in. My fiance has told me she doesn't want to get a drivers license, that pretty much eliminates work possibilities. Some things might change, right now she's saying she doesn't want a license, having kids would eliminate that quick. Having kids is what she wants most but I want to have fun for a year and enjoy life, plus if the health system crashes then maybe a year from now it will be cheaper to have a kid, it certainly can't go up in price.

I agree with this post, you should not be mad at the Daca petitioner. You should be mad at the president for passing such a ridiculous thing and mad at the illegal parent who brought the kid here. Now I love foreigners, I love people from other countries coming to visit. I'm one of the few people in Orlando who likes the tourists. But people that invade our country and steal our resources is grounds for war. We bomb people we don't even know thousands of miles away because they are hurting each other, but we look the other way to the millions that are hurting our country our land. I don't really care if they are here, I would never compete job wise with them. But our government needs to be set up much differently so that the honor code is done away with. Take away illegals voting in the last election I would have liked to see the outcome.

Get the kids over here, they will adapt better the younger they are. Kids are kids doesn't matter where they are from. There are so few years left that the kids will actually want you in their life, when they are teenagers they will be through with you. Do the right thing and get the kids over here no matter what the cost. That should be expedited. You're certainly not the first to bring over fiance or wife and get kids later, but I just don't know how any mother or father could do that. I had a girl awhile back I met say the child could come later and that is when I knew she wasn't for me. Leaving a husband or wife is a piece of cake compared to leaving a child, so you're basically teaching someone to learn to live without someone they once loved. In some cases there is more to the story and yours could be one, but money isn't a reason to wait. Money is a reason to get a second job.
I don't totally agree with the post above, they don't need to keep customs or traditions they are at a age they will embrace what their friends are doing. I personally think it would be bad if you kept them around the filipino community it'd be best for them to dive in and get use to the culture here.

Kids born to illegal parents are already citizens. And get benefits immediately. So very possibly there are 1 million kids or more getting benefits when their parents most likely have never paid taxes. It certainly isn't our countries only problem but it is a major one. Unfortunately our president has decided to take our most cricital problems and make them worse. Luckily he has only addressed health care and immigration reform... if he addresses much more I honestly feel it will break us. Hopefully the next president will re-address things back on track.

It's only a hard process if you make it one. You have the ability to say hey it's going to take awhile I might as well enjoy my single life while the wait is going on. In most cases you can go live in the other country until the visa is done. But I definitely see your point. A few years from now when our government has collapsed and country is in ruins it probably won't be as lengthy a process, most people will be leaving and not coming.

Are you sure you want to marry someone with the smarts to say something like that? During the interview he might tell them about a murder he committed 10 years ago. It's hard to believe someone would talk about that unless in their country it isn't illegal. Then I guess I could see it as not being a big deal. I wouldn't worry it's just weed, it's almost legal now in the US so I highly doubt denial because of it.

This is a great story, I hope you have a great life together. I may have understood something wrong but it seems like the kids aren't here yet... I'm normally an optimist but I will not be jumping up and down until my fiance passes through immigrations. Unfortunately until the person is a citizen there is always a risk of being denied at POE. It sounds great that you went forward anyway and I know Nigeria is a tougher country for immigration, but it doesn't sound like your journey is quite over yet. Maybe I misunderstood either way I wish you the best luck, it's nice to see you are doing the right thing and I'm sure the kids are super excited.

I don't understand if you came here for your fiance, and it just happened to end after 2 years. Why wouldn't you go back to your country if you are starting over? If I was in the same situation I would come back to US to be around my family. There is always 2 sides to every story so I would assume that immigration is going to want your ex's side also. You should have documents from police on abuse ready just in case. If you don't have anything documenting it I would say your story gets even fishier... I'm only trying to put myself in your shoes, if the same happened to me in China my major concern wouldn't be staying in China it would be having family near.
