This forum is for discussion of Politics and Religion. Christianity is not restricted to anyone country and this thread is appropriately placed in this forum. If this was prayer request specific to someone from his regional forum I'd agree with you but this is prayer request from the general VJ membership in regards to someone they would like prayers for, so I'd have to agree with the OP since this is P & R the thread is appropriate here. There may not be many religious only threads posted here but the tone of each thread is set by the OP so many times we've gone by that.
I'd really like the request prayers for the 14 yo Pakistani girl Malala Yousufzai who was shot in the head and neck this past week by Taliban militants on her school bus along with two other girls. I know from experience working with traumatic brain injuries that she most likely will never be the same but I have seen miraculous things happen. Every time I read her story or watch video of her I cry. It really affects me deeply. I pray for her recovery, her friends, her family, the women and girls who seek their right to education and freedom from the oppression of these brutal men that prey on the poor and uneducated, and for the people of Pakistan.

Those who do not share this similar faith, should show respect to those who do, and simply look over this thread. There is no requirement for you to come here, so coming here and preaching Evolution is disrespectful.
In much the same way it would be considered baiting if I preached in a thread called 'Evolution-ism'. I wouldn't do that because I respect the free will of everyone on here.

Depending on who actually pays attention, this may be caught by the USCIS during I-130 processing and issue an RFE. If not by the USCIS, you may be able to put the right date on form DS-230. Are there any consequences of having a date in DS-230 different from the form I-130? That would again depend on if they pay attention.
Either way, I would advice you to get things corrected before the visa is issued. Once its in the system, and the visa issued, you might have a tough time correcting it since it wasn't an administrative error on their part. (You will end up with June 2012 as the date in the immigration system while a certificate that shows July 2009)
And also,if not corrected earlier, a not-so-easy time during the interview since one of the questions that is most likely to be asked is "When did you get married?"

I had a previous service request for the upgrade of my petition from permanent resident to USC. So I called to check on that, when they confirmed that it was complete I asked when I can expect to be processed the rep told me that in 5-6 months, I responded yes but from my priori date, so that would only be 1-2 months. She say "I think it's from the upgrade date", once she said I think that was my entry to get to level 2, I said I really want to know for sure because if that was the case I expected a new priority date.
Long story short I was transferred to level 2 and the officer opened a service request to check on the "exact status" of my application.
Right now I am just hoping that they process it once its in someone's had. Can't be bad to have a little extra attention on my case, the officer said I should know in less than two weeks the answer to the request.

1 Denial-- You will not believe the results and constantly flip from the major networks to MSNBC to see if possibly Chris Mathews can reverse the victory. You will listen for days to the TV in hopes Obama will issue a Executive order, to overturn this gross injustice. Your ears will listen with intent to hear talk of hanging chads, rigged voting machines. You will hope that the numerous lawsuits filed in Ohio claiming all kinds of disenfranchisement will work. You will grind your teeth and tear your clothes. You will scream out out, Our Messiah of hope and change what have you done.
2. Anger-- You will scream out.. it's all Bush fault, you will scream that Romney be impeached before he even takes office. You will curse fox news and curse into the wind calling voting machine foul names.
3. Bargaining- You will then try to explain why Obama losing means nothing. You will say it is unfair that he does not still pursue the policy of no hope and no change. You will explain how this is a moral victory.
4. Depression. -- A lot of you will be scarce. You will threaten to leave the country, You may break down in tears.
Acceptance--Are you kidding me. Have you ever met a liberal that accepts anything. They are always right and their lofty sense of idealism and justice evaporates the second someone has a view that does not mirror their own.

Looks like Romney is now even in Wisconsin and Ohio as of this morning. Ahead in Colorado and Virginia. According to Rasmussen reports.
Three days after the last debate Romney is still up 3 points nation wide.

Umm...I don't mean to bring up a very obvious point, but a baby cannot be biologically the child of two of the same gender. And I always thought the point of a birth certificate to indicate who is the biological father and mother. And if the biological father isn't known, then they might indicate it. I could be wrong. That could be a Canadian thing. Or something I made up in my head. Maybe someone could enlighten me on the process, though.
