To be fair to all, it would be nice if you could disclose the source you are using, and from which you are drawing your notion of 'Principles'.

Without a written formal document, clearly outlining the principles of republicanism, it all becomes a matter of personal opinion, in which case you would not have an argument for it would be impossible for you to determine who is a republican and who is not based on our own limited opinion, isn't it so?
