  1. Not definitive at all. It is just a general frame of referance. An actual event will over ride this projection if there is one sooner.
  2. This forum is for DIY kind of immigration cases. Your case appears to be far more complex than it may seems. You should consult a good immigration lawyer before sending anything more to USCIS. Where is your GC?
  3. My initial assumption was that you may have fallen prey to CARRP, but I think that is not the case here. Do you have any of these: Driver License, Fed and State Tax returns, lease, bank account? they all can have your name on it. Affidavit of anyone will establish you reside there and for how long. Any mail on your name that shows the address and your name. Evidence can be of any kind because adjudicator's FM does not have a fix list. Do you have any family members who resided in the US during the time of your absence, kids (how many and age), wife etc? Apart from valid Green Card, do you have anything that shows your relationship with the United States? When did you obtain travel document and when did it expire? What was your job before you left and if you have returned to the same employer?
  4. No, you cant request Oath schudule. USCIS will inform you once it is scheduled!
  5. What country are you from? What documents did you submit to overcome "presumtion of break in continuity of residence?" Immigration has nothing to do with your passport, you should not have given them? Do you know the name of the Officer? It should be on Notice Of Result of Examination.
  6. Is your older account is housed at myuscis.gov? If so, there is no need to create a new account. My post was in reference to ELIS system that some of us still maintain an account on. That particular platform did not have PDF access.
  7. USCIS has an account platform that is now phased out. The older (legacy account) was an alert/notification based system. It did not have PDF capabilities. Current platform, unlike the ELIS, does have PDF Notices accessibility. Unlike the current system where a notification is often generated at batch closing (past-midnight), older system has real-time notification of case events and you get a notification the very moment an event is performed on your case. I found this feature to be far more accurate and helpful especially for those who dont get notification from the current system.
  8. Are you a teenager? Maintain a civil discourse dude. Have a good day!
  9. Discovery at the earlier stage did not prompt USCIS to fully eradicate the issue. N400 is the last string and CLAIMS4 will not complete "CIS File Close" request if there are outstading issues. As for congressional support, it is simply an effort to keep them reminded of an event and data point for GAO. Congressional Rep cannot force USCIS or any agency to complete a task if the agency takes more and is not barred by law. In this particular case, USCIS has not refused to resolve it. Responsibility also falls on the applicant as well. Upon first discovery, they should have visited local office to have it fixed.
  10. Senator's office cant do anything. USCIS may have already initiated the internal reqest to investigate and correct the isuue. Local Field Offices have no prior knowledge of your case or any issues in your A-file. On the day of interview, A-files are recieved and placed in scheduled que for examination and interview. A clerk reviews the file and places a yellow page on it for "CIS File Close" post-decision log. For examination, once an application or petition is recieved, A-files are researched for completion and compliance for that particular application by the NBC. Because CLAIMS4 is automated, it generates A-file transfer request for mobilization of A-file to the Local Filed Office using Zipcode. After a paper A-File is generated for a person, USCIS Records Personnel electronically creates a record in CIS capturing eight mandatory data fields from the benefits application, visa application, or law enforcement document. These mandatory data elements include the Alien Number, first name, last name, date of birth, File Control Office (FCO), country of birth, date of file opened, and class of admission. CIS may contain additional information from documents provided by the applicant when applying for benefits or visas or from information provided by law enforcement officials due to an encounter. Please note only Records personnel and/or Records contract staff are designated and trained to perform the electronic creation of an entry in CIS, not a Field Office employee. Computer-Linked Application Information Management System 4 (CLAIMS 4) provides automated support for the processing of Application for Naturalization (N-400) forms, including the receiving, data entry, and other initial processing operations of the USCIS Service Centers, as well as the adjudications and oath ceremony management activities of the local USCIS offices. CLAIMS 4 sends three different application data: Central Index Close, File Transfer Request, and Verify Data. CIS sends special protected class data to CLAIMS4 on daily basis so the good news is that once correct, it will readily be reflected into your A-file. In the long run, discovery of this error at this stage is beneficial for you because it will save you headches down the line of A-file mismatch. It is an internal administrative task and will be resolved by CIS staff by purging/ or merging the file to the correct A-number.
  11. Do you have Driver License, lease or bank account? they all can have your name on it. Affidavit of you husband will establish you reside there and for how long. Travel history is only relevent if you have travelled outside and stayed far too long etc. Any kids besides the one you mentioned? Any mail on your name that shows the address and your name. Why did you not file jointly before the last year? You may be asked about it. Evidence can be of any kind because adjudicator's FM does not have a fix list.
  12. You can apply for a passport right after getting your Certificate of Naturalization. However If you have an urgent travel (within 14 days) and you can establish it by an itenrary, you can request an appointment at a Passport Agency. You will get your passport the following day along with the certificate.
  13. I got it same day and everything was returned to me right there. Passport Card arrived five days later.
  14. Congrats, One of my family memebers is still is waiting since Oct last year.
  15. Got my Next Generation Passport today, everything was returned. This now concludes my immigration journey. I will always be dedicated to helping people reach their stars. Good luck to all those aspiring USC.
  16. I have seen family members joining after the cermoney for pict etc. If you can get them throgh FPS (security), they may join you after the cermoney for pic etc.
  17. If an application for naturalization is approved, the applicant signs everything at the conclusion of the interview and that includes going over the information that will be reflected on their Certificate of Naturalization. Once the applicant checks and sign everything, the IO will then sign and place a yellow paper (Notice of Conclusion of Examination and referal for Quality Review) on A-file. This completes the N400 journey, and triggers the notification "We recommended that your Form N-400: Application for Naturalization be approved. Your case was submitted for quality review." Claims4 merged Claims3 and introduced few more automations. One of them is to trigger queing for Oath Cermoney while eliminating duplicate SORN. If all is good, an IO will issue a Notice of Oath Ceremony, asking the applicant to retun the last page on the day of Oath. Have you received notice that your N400 was approved? Because this would have required you to review and sign during the interview. If you completed all these steps and signed everything, I dont know what else is left.
  18. Glad it worked out well. Good Luck to you on your interview and Oath.
  19. Good that you heard back, at least it clears up that file is not at FRC. If I was you, I would write a letter to FOD (Field Office Director) or Supv Examinations and Testing at local office requesting an interview. In my request, I would briefly talk about the last event etc. If you have any urgent circumstances warranting a due consideration, mentioning them will not hurt.
  20. FRC is a repository of federal records. FRC center in Lees Summit maintains USCIS A-files. Each center has three public email addresses. Sean Murphy is the Director of FRC Lees Summit. Transfer address is to request file transfer. I have attached both. https://www.archives.gov/frc/directors Lee's Summit, MO Sean Murphy, Director Lee's Summit Federal Records Center 200 Space Center Drive Lee' Summit, MO 64064-1182 sean.murphy@nara.gov (816) 268-8100 General Transfer Address: LeesSummit.transfer@nara.gov Transfer and Disposition Phone:(816) 268-8148 General Reference Address: LeesSummit.reference@nara.gov Reference Services Phone:(816) 268-8140
  21. Send an email to FRC in Lees Summit. Transfer and Sean both.
  22. 120 days is what a general timeframe is to finalize it. However, there is not definitive timeframe binding USCIS to complete your case. Press option 6 I believe for info pass and speak to an agent.
  23. You should be fine. I had 207 days break. IO asked me about it. But I had all the documents to show I did maintained ties and residence in the US. i WAS APPROVED. Bring; 1- DL to show you kept it active, 2- Vehicle registration, 3- insurance, 4- utility bils covering the time you had been away, 5- Mortgage or rent receipts, 6- Lease if you are renting, 7- Fed and State returns, 8- Any services you received or paid for during that time, 9- Evidence of your husband's contract or work. If the contracting was for US Gov, it will exempt you from "Presumption of Break in Contineous Residence."
