  1. Oath was performed at 1 pm. Officially a US Citizen. End of a long journey!
  2. Officially a U.S. Citizen:)) Wish all of fellows a speedy path.
  3. Interview was passed mid last year, it is the approval and oath that they are waiting for.
  4. One of my family memebers is still waiting. He is a July 2021 filer.
  5. Each person has a unique immigration history. Another factor is FO workload. There are several variables that contribute to quicker or slower movement. At the same time, I can also understand your frustration and wish you a quick movement on your case.
  6. US Dept of Homeland Security adopts final rule on "public charge" to determine eligibility for grant of AOS. Department, through its final rule, sets aside the Trump Admin's controversial public charge interpretations and recodifies legacy INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) guidance of 1999. https://public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2022-18867.pdf
  7. If anyone happen to ever had USCIS's legacy account, I suggest they keep it active or restore their access to it and add their N400 case there. I have been testing and noted that alerts of case events appeare to be far more accurate and in real-time. Though it lacks features such as access to PDF notices etc, its notification capability is phenomenal. Forexample, as soon as I finsihed my interview and finished the checklist of Oath on a tab, I had received an sms that "We recommended that your Form N400; Application for Naturalization be approved." I feel like it is better than having to keep refreshing myuscis account. https://egov.uscis.gov
  8. If anyone happen to have USCIS's legacy account, I suggest they keep it active or restore the access, as the alerts and notifications in that appeare to be far more accurate and in real-time. https://egov.uscis.gov
  9. Not definitive. There have been cases where it went to 0 days and then "Things are taking a bit longer, you dont have to do anything" notation. Unless you see an actual pdf notice of a movement, dont plan on this estimat number.
  10. That is system generated and will switch back and forth. My N400 was showing 15 months but I got approved on the same day.
  11. What matters most is what stage are you at in your naturalization process. CLAIMS4 (formarly RNACS) system is hard coded to delay a notification once SORN system trigers existence of a new event. It is automated as in it reactivates the notification once the event is completed. At this point, it will send notice with new address.
  12. HAB Parole is an immigration inspection and admission measure. This question is asking about the parole that falls under criminal procedure after a conviction.
  13. He is not eligile for federal mean-tested benefits, however, you are eligible. Signing of an Affidavit of Support only covers initial 5 years of LPR. One of the conditions of SNAP is that applicant must have been an LPR for five years. Exceptions apply in case an applicant falls within a federally protected class. Read Section 403, subsention b and c. https://www.ssa.gov/OP_Home/comp2/F104-193.html What do you means by EBT? EBT is just a card, it is like a debit card, what mean-tested benefit are you seeking?
  14. Though my case was not delayed due to FRC's A-file delays, i did send them an email. Someone named Sean Murphy replied that my A-file was sent to USCIS FO in Jan- a month after I applied. Your best bet is to email the FRC, no phone calls. Could you DM me the email you sent them?
  15. When did she apply for N400? Did the officer have her sign Oath-related document? Usually they tell you that they will mail the decision etc. A-file delays adds a significant time in some cases. However, it is unclear as to why A-file was not present. Did she ask the IO why her A-file was not available?
  16. ***UPDATE*** I have recieved a notification of Oath Ceremony schudule on my USCIS account. The PDF copy also lists that address of the FO as the location of Oath Ceremony. As few people suggested, it appears that this USCIS FO administers Oath onsite. Thank you everyone for your insight.
  17. No, I am not requesting a name change. When IO gave me the notice, I asked if there is an earlier availability of Oath, to which IO responded: unfortunately this is the only one available. I was reading online and noticed that my notice time is not what is listed on the couthouse so that got me worried. I work nation-wide in refugees resettlement and my work makes my FO very far from me so I wanted to be sure. I will arrive at 9:30 just to be sure. Thank you:) I believe this is the case!
  18. Court does oath three times a months. They have reserved three different days, one for each three FO in that FO's Fed Court. Friday is reserved for this FO. I think, as Arken said, there is a possibility that FO administers an Oath inhouse apart from the Court. But in anycase, I am planing to go early to Court just to clarify if I am not on their list.
  19. i agree and that is what I am planing on doing.
