Good Evening family, can someone help me which documents should I include for my i130 petition, to send it to uscis?

Make sure too show evidence of you in her life since birth if possible. Pictures together throughout her life, conversations, School fees paid for her, money you sent.
his helps and may alleviate the need for DNA testing.
Letter of consent from Mother also.

    Hello everyone,

Has anyone here visited his/her USC spouse while I-130 is pending? Please, share your experiences because it’s really hard for people in such situation to decide weather to risk or not?

Any denied entries because of that?
In case entry is denied, will it affect the I-130 petition?

Many have  visited. Bring  paperwork just in case to show you are returning. Like letter from employer, lease, return ticket. Some are asked some aren't. If refused no it doesn't effect I-130 unless you lied.

Yes, no problem.  I still don't understand how the F1 category could also have a longer wait time than F2B in certain countries. In which countries does this take effect and what would be the reasons for this?

I understood that I would still be recommended to inform NVC about my citizenship status either way. How would we go about informing the NVC about the citizenship status usually for an ongoing case?

To upgrade your petition to US Citizen filer you send Public Inquiry to NVC here's the link. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html
You upload your Naturalization certificate also.

I am in the UK ( a UK resident ) and would like to visit New York for a week's holiday in September / October this year.

I am in my late fifties and looked into visiting under the esta process.  Back in the early 1980's when I was 17 I committed the crime of assault and was fined a

first offense amount of £50 In the UK it is considered a spent offence though it does show up on enhanced DBS checks.

I ticked the Criminal Act box on the ESTA website and it appears I now have to go through the process of applying for a visa.

As it is the first time I have gone through this process I am finding it a little confusing. do I have to pay a fee to apply? Does the fact that the offense

was committed a long time ago make a difference? I would like to perhaps visit the USA on a long-term visa in the future sometime so I want to be honest in my

application. this will be my first visit to the USA

    Mike

What did you mean "I would like to perhaps visit the USA on a long-term visa in the future"

    Hello Everyone,

Please i submitted my application the month I check my status in May, 2023 but still I have not received my interview date. When I check the visa bulletin for Africa for the month of February, my number fall within but still I have not received my date , is there something I need to do?

What is your Visa category? For IR/CR category IL's are going out today and they are in Feb 2023. So they are a 12 month wait for that category.

Thanks.  She is 15, but I will file the 765 anyway.  Also, being that she is a child of USC, I believe I can do the 864W.  Can someone confirm if I need a full I-864.

I did the I-130 online and will file the receipt with the 485.  Should the package still go to the Chicago lockbox?

I'm sorry if my questions sound basic, but its been so long since I've done this.

Yes you can use the I-864W. The I-765 is just so she can get the Social security # so as EAD card arrives since the approval of the I-485 can take some time. Just nice to have that sooner rather than later.

Here's the addresses of where to file according to where you live.

  7. Unfortunately this  is so flippin common in Nigeria that I deal with the embassy expects it. It is not impossible to get over this hurdle. Just wish you knew what you knew now. First a Writ of Mandamus was a waste because you are telling them to make a decision now. They don;t even have your evidence.
Have you even got your NOIR or NOID letter from them. Yes it's unusual to get case sent back for misrep most get a chance at embassy to rectify the situation.
This is what your wife needs to do. She needs to go to her high court (get a lawyer to do it) and get a swore affidavit stating she has never been married before. She needs to coup to the lie. The agent can put whatever they want she raised her hand t interview and said all was true and yes they do ask are you married so she can;t say she didn't know that was there it was her responsibility to check and make sure all was true.
Get the affidavit and wait out your letter from USCIS.

  8. I have a friend going through the same thing she filed her ROC 1 month after my husbands in June 2018. But she divorced about 1 year after Then last year she applied for citizenship. Had interview finally for I-751 in April 2023. Then N-400 interview in August 2023. Adjudicator said she will her something by end of August. Nothing. End of September nothing. Weird the adjudicator gave her her phone # and email (if they legit who the heck knows) but no movement on I-751 or update since 2019 and nothing on the N-400.
She is Nigerian also and so was her ex. But Ex did get messy in beginning cuz he was hurt and called immigration saying all kinds of wahala.
I do agree with @Rocio0010 previous marriages to your country people especially Nigeria is a BIG Read flag. So I am sure they are examining the divorce decrees and such. You know how documents go there it can be troublesome at best.

OP is short for “original poster” of the thread, in this case you.  I agree with the others that suggest given the country of your girlfriend, I would also recommend the spousal visa route.  You can do the Utah online Zoom wedding when you are next together in Turkey.

    Good Luck!

Just FYI the two people getting married don;t have to be in same place. But they do have to "Consummate" meet up after the ceremony and before filing I-130. I know a few coupes who have done the UTAH zoom wedding and both parties were in different countries all approved and living in US. This zoom thing getting popular in these had to marry places and especially for those condemned to get married in certain countries so they keep it on the low low.

Thanks for you input.Have a lawyer already.Filed using a Lawyer. Was just wondering why it’s taking forever to even schedule an interview

I have a friend same situation (weird they are from Nigeria also and had to switch to divorce waiver). She filed one month after my husband which was June 2018. She just had her N-400/I-751 interview 2 weeks ago. Yes filed in 2018.
There's was filing  I-751, getting divorced. moving from one state to another, transferring case. But finally after many e-request finally. Still not approved still waiting for I-751 to get approved. It's like it's stuck like yours. Hang in there. Hope you don't have to file WOM.

  11. Did you notify NVC that these cases were to be married up? If you didn't they would have separate AOS fee since they were filed at different times. You need to notify them and hopefully because they are under 21 they will keep case together regardless of the spread out DQ dates.
And they didn't skip you. They have a big queue and alot is going on. You will probably be in the next queue for September interview dates.

Please am in Ghana trying to get appointment date but is fully booked still next years. Wish of the closest African countries can i get fast appointment date

Benin, Cameroon, Sierra Leone they do not have backlog. Ghana is a 2 year wait for most F categories. As long as your PD is current you can transfer if you are a resident of that country.
