We met our post man at the door this morning with that exact same scenario. Informed delivery meant we couldn't wait a second to get to the mail! Same dates, same informed delivery. I'll save you the wait...it's NOA approvals for EAD & AP. The EAD one is 2 pages. It's exciting, yet disappointing at the same time since it's not the actual card.

You were right. And this morning I got the email that the card was mailed yesterday. ^_^  looks like I’ll get it right before my interview depending on how long the delivery takes haha.

  2. Getting two letters according to informed delivery. One has two pages one has one page. I’m assuming it’s the notice that my EAD is in production and the AP is approved. Since EAD was in production on 18 sep and ap approced 19 sep. both are dated for 18 Sep. the one with two pages I can make out the beginning of the first sentence “ we have approved your application for”

  3. So the post office has lost a second social security card. I talked to the SSO today and they told me the exact dates they sent the first and second card. They told me the problem was with the post office and I need to talk to them to find out why they aren’t delivering the card. They also ordered a third one today and said if this one doesn’t deliver them they can order one sent to their office and we could pick it up there. This is ridiculous and makes me wonder if we will have the same issue when the EAD/AP card and PR card is eventually sent...

I have a love/hate relationship with the USPS informed delivery. I got notice today that there is something in the mailbox addressed to me (petitioner) from USCIS. Now I have to wait all day to go home and see what it is! I keep telling myself it's probably just a confirmation notice that they received my address change. But I really want it to be something more exciting! Oh the need for patience in this journey!

I had informed delivery for my social security card 4 weeks ago and I still haven’t received it... I called them and they sent another one and I haven’t received that one yet either.... of course they will lose a SS card... but they’ve never lost a bill.... 🤦🏻‍♂️

Was updated to "fingerprint fee was received"

Same here. As for my social security card.. we applied in March 12, it was finally approved on June 14, it was processed June 17.. mailed June 18 and scanned by informed delivery on June 20. Still haven’t received it yet..but I went by the SSO today and they hand write the number for me... so atleast I know the number now.

So basically it went like this:

    1.  I first called USCIS to request expedite, gave them all the info and they submitted the request for me.

    2.  About five days later, I received an email from the local USCIS office stating they could not approve my expedite request due to not submitting supporting documents, even though I was not given direction to do so.

    3.  What I then did was mail the local USCIS office my supporting documents, along with a letter I typed my self requesting to be expedited again, which was received on May 28th.

    4.  A week later, USCIS called my wife and asked if we can do the interview on June 11th!  So the expedite worked!  So at the moment, my wife and I are preparing for our interview.

Take in mind, I am military, and I submitted a copy of my orders to be stationed overseas at the end of the year, so that's what really helped the expedite to be proccess to be approved.  If you'd like I can send you a template of the letter I wrote to my local USCIS office, because I am here to help!

Yes, please send me a template. I received the orders last month. Ive done the same as your number 1. I just got the email 10 minutes ago telling me they cant make a decision without documents and told me to use infopass so I  can bring them the documents. but the local office is not accepting walkins or infopass appointments lol. So I think ill do what you did and mail them everything.

  7. What was the outcome of getting your AOS expedited @Artemiss and @Ed&Midori1031 ? I'm in a similar situation. I called them today requesting my case be expedited and I gave them all the information they asked for and they submitted the request. I think ill be in the same boat with waiting on the background to be cleared as we just received our Biometrics appointment notice today...

  8. Still haven't received NOA1. But i called today and they gave me my receipt number. They told me they mailed the biometrics notice yesterday. And that they will put in an inquiry regarding us not receiving NOA1. The payment went through yesterday as well. But i have not received NOA1 or email or text.. and i included the electronic notice in my AOS packet (3 actually, one for each form AOS/EAD/AP). Any way less worried now, i just hope the Biometrics notice isn't lost like the NOA1.
