  1. HEHE, well hoping we get visa and through customs .... then I can relax sort of. Got to deal with EX one I take mahal ko home. HEHEHEHE won't that be fun...... :diablo: :diablo:

Wait, what the...? you have to deal with your ex, for you to take your fiancee home?? Buddy, I sense more threads coming lol

Did she pass CFO? and what you gonna do if they don't deliver the visa in time for your expected POE?

    Anyway, congrats again.

  2. @Jan, MathewNCarolina et al: Yes, we have scheduled interview now at Manila embassy for October 12. Just a few of the reasons for that date include as follows: First, Inday needs some time to attend to some personal matters plus wants to make sure all documents in order, a couple of which still need to be obtained. Also, Inday will likely have her medical at least a week prior to interview, a week which will also be used to attend CFO seminar (a requirement for Filipino fiance(e)s leaving the Philippines) and week used to to go to Manila offices if her documents have not arrived by end of September (she lives in provinces, in central Philippines, so documents have been slow in arriving/obtaining). Furthermore, and certainly not least, I promised Inday that I would be there with her in Manila at the time of medical, CFO, interview and all else. So, I need to schedule leave in advance with work and prepare the trip to Manila. It will be a busy next few weeks and an even busier time in the Philippines. However, the best part is that Inday and I will get to be seeing each other again soon. Thank you for asking and you know I will keep you posted!

Hey RK, ooh I totally understand it, and very sweet of you to attend it with her, that'll give your fiancee so much more confidence! I agree, you two will be so busy, but it all will worth in the end. I'm happy for you guys, and wishing good luck!!

Mimi and Sean, Congrats on your interview date! Don't worry, time will go by sooo fast, and soon enough you'll be with your honey! :) Good luck!

  3. My god, marchers, where are you all????!! How's people with interview so close this week? Nervous? Excited???

I'm counting the days down, can't waiiiiit til I hug my honey again, can't waiiiit for the time of our lives! I've been planning so many things for the wedding, trying to think about the decoration and all, anyone else doing this???

People about to travel, nervous?? COME ON, SHARE WITH US!! :D

soon 33 days til interview, hell yeah!:blush: . I'm extremely excited today, tomorrow I'll pick up my packet 4 at the post office, if it's not raining like crazy.

Anyway, much love to you all!! (F)

  4. Man, if you do not call them as soon as they open, after lunch break it's slow. I've waited around 15 minutes to get my interview date, and the first time I called, 1 minute after they opened, it rang and 2 seconds later I was talking to an operator. It all depends on what time you call, but later, it always take at least 5 minutes (if you're lucky). Keep trying!

  5. After reading all of your content, I have some questions that keeps repeating on my mind...

    - Do you even have a tourist visa yet?

    - Have you decided on which type of visa are you sticking to? You went through tourist, to lotery, to work, to even religious... and ALL of your posts you wanna know about the Green Card. I am not making assumptions, I'm just putting 2+2 together, and it's kinda weird that all of your questions leads to it.

    - why is it so important? Shouldn't you be concerned about making your relationship work at first and make his family accept the age difference between you and him? And last but not least, is he concerned about the same things as you?

....For the posts above, my bet would be 2 letters. G & C.

  6. No I'm planning right now. I will meet him through tourist visa soon but right now he and I are trying to figure out all the options we both have right now. The options that I have are K-1 and Employment. I'm trying to seek out as many options as I can so I feel a little bit more confident.

Oh, so you are going to meet him for the first time? If so, well take your time then, see if things will work out, then you can choose the best option. I personally have nothing to complain about the K1 visa, for us has been very good even with all the wait, you still have time to choose though. Good luck, again.

  7. To Anh Map, I'm trying to find all the opportunities to be with my boyfriend. Is having more than 1 visa option illegal because if it is I'll just focus on 1 visa. I'm really just trying to be with my boyfriend and go to America to stay with him there.

If you wanna marry him, then your best option is the K1. You're trying to find easier ways, and well, I did that too before starting this journey, and well, none worked better than K1 so far. If you and your boyfriend wants to marry, and be together for good.. you have then 2 options, K1 or CR-1. It can take a while, but that's the price we pay for it, and maybe not, you can be approved faster than you think. Either way, choose wisely, good luck.

  8. All of us March filers should be seeing interviews pretty soon. I feel like everyone here is my extended family!

Aww aorobert! I feel the same about my buddies here, I'm so glad we found this website, so helpful and that introduced us to so many nice people. I can't wait until we're all with our loved ones to plan a real big meeting, because we definitely HAVE TO meet!!! This is going to be another week of the best waiting of my life, one less!!!

Anyway, how is going everybody's weekend? Man, I just got home from my girl friend's house and we went last night to a concert, with my high school best friends and I had sooooooo much fun!!! I NEEDED IT! After all those months waiting, suffering with this process, I can now enjoy my time here, prepare myself and see who I love before I leave. The only thing that it was missing was my amazing fiancé beside me :( I wish he was there to laugh and have fun with us, it'd be so good but oh well, maybe before we leave we can go out like this and do the same! And the result of my night out is... I have no voice at all now

    (F) to my ''Marchers'' :)

  9. NOA 1 (Notice of Action) in terms of an I-129F means that it has been received

RFE - Request for Further Evidence

Touched - it has been looked at or moved or someone spilled coffee on it

NOA 2 (Notice of Action) in terms of an I-129F generally means that the petition has been approved and will be forwarded to NVC

    hahahahahahahahaha best description

  10. I thought my anxiety would end when I find out about the interview date. But now, I'm even more anxious, I can't hardly sleep Lol... My head keeps over-thinking, 'bout the medical, the interview... what should I wear, if I will get up early in the morning...and on :crying: ... Lmao

LOL you're not alone, sis.. you are not alone! I even have to wonder about when Matt's gonna come here, and what am I gonna do, what I'll wear, forms, forms, documents.. does this process ever ends? lol I feel like I'm trapped in it has 10 years! :bonk: I guess it only gets better once you're holding each other again :luv:

  11. As the beneficiary here, I do feel way more comfortable and confident knowing that my fiance will come to attend the interview with me. For the money matter, depending on when it's her intertivew, you could plan a little more, check for discounts, good deals on flights, if you don't rush and have time to plan the trip, you could save some money and it wouldn't be too tight on your balance account.

I personally think that it makes a big difference if the petitioner is right there, attending the interview with the beneficiary, for confidence, for support which it counts a lot if she's very nervous about it. I'd go, if I was you. Good luck!

    Carolina.
