  1. Hmmm we called them several times and even a visa specialist on DOS and MOST of operators told us the same, that to SOME countries now the rule changed and the petition is forwarded to the consulate and they don't touch it at all. That some countries still needs to go through NVC, but some doesn't and it is a new rule, so people on the consulate and some operators aren't aware of it.

If it's BS or what, idk.. I'm just waiting to hear from whoever is with my petition, either NVC or the consulate (hopefully) ... as long as I can have my interview date, whoever is touching my petition should hurry up lol Good luck though.

  2. Sooooo... what's everyone doing this week? I'm getting addicted to miniclip.com .. random little games are such a fun thing

We're waiting on the consulate now, hope they are nice to us and give an early date. I miss my baby  and we'll only be together for the interview, so hurry up whoever is with our petition! <_<

Monday is my medical interview! I'm a little nervous but I know it'll be fine, I did all the exams required and took the shot  (by the way one more this august 15th :dead: ) .... soooo bring it on packet 4!!!

And how's my lovely march filers??? :)

  3. Hey all. Our fiancee petition was approved on July 5th, notice date of July 5th (2011). We are both anxiously waiting for our petition to go through NVC and onto her embassy in Brazil. I've been calling NVC for weeks now. Today is 15 business days since July 5th, and I plan to call again this evening. I'll be glad to here when the petition is there, and new case number assigned. This second wait is driving us crazy. It's driving her more crazy than it is me, because she's READY to go. I can't blame her. Anyway, I plan to fly to Brazil with her to attend the interview.

Since I'm doing this, and I can print chat history/emails/etc. easier than she can.. I'm going to print our additional photos of us together, from the second stay together in her country. I'm at the stage of gathering everything that's needed. I have about 30 pay stubs from about 2008 to now. Since my father is my employer, he's working on producing a letter of employment, with my position, salary, and all that other stuff. I have a few questions... let's see if I can keep from being confusing.

I have my 2010 tax return papers. What forms should I take to the interview for her? Is it w2's only, or more? I also have my 2009 papers. I have the 2008 somewhere too, I just have to figure out where I put it lol. Is 2009 and 2010 enough?

Also, I'm pretty sure I am okay alone with the affidavit of support. More recently, in 2011 I got put on salary pay. I make a fixed amount of money every week. However, in 2010 and previous years... I would have time off from work without collecting unemployment. Which is probably stupid but I still live at home and I could afford to just "not work" and not get pay. Economy is tough and sometimes I think it just helps my dad to not get paid. So what I'm saying is, my annual income for 2010 might not quite reach the 125% above poverty level, on the tax returns. In 2011, it definitely will. Can somebody give me an updated national poverty level number?

I originally, beacuse my father is willing, was going to have him co-sponsor, either way. To be safe. Is this okay?

I want to make sure I do it all right, with what I have. I don't want to be the cause for a delay at the interview, or god forbid, a denial, over something simple. My pay stubs for the last several months show my salary pay for 40 hours... Can they consider that? Hell, I know that some people don't even have this stuff looked at, surprisingly. Anyway, any input is greatly appreciated.

Also, if I am to go the "tax transcript" route... Can anyone be specific on how to order/order the right form that is sufficient? And if I want to order transcrips from 2008, 2009, 2010... would they be ordered seperately?

Thanks so much for any advice.

    Matt

  4. Hey, their website isn't the best thing in the world, for some people doesn't change at all.. in my case I saw our NOA2 there, before my baby got the text, it worked great for us (at least to see the approval lol  ). Don't worry about the website, really. If you can get them to change it to what's ''normal'' as Initial Review, great.. if not, oh well. You will hear from them, I'm telling you.

As for the waiting, no one can help you really.. only advice is to stay busy, and focus on your relationship, to make it work and stay beautiful, this will carry on to the future. Good luck :)

  5. Man.. what a horrible thing. And thinking that she's out there, living her life as if nothing ever happened and she's an :innocent: ... Damn.

No new advice here, but follow what experienced posters are saying. ICE/CPS, do NOT sign anything.. you have gone so far, now you have to go FURTHER, to have your life back. It's your obligation as a father, you gotta protect them, you gotta keep them safe.

Follow what people here are telling you.. New lawyer now, if you search you'll find it, and find one who understands about immigration or have the resources to understand. Get yourself back, get your family back... Good luck, and hope things get better soon.

  6. Don't go visit her honey, it will be a waste of your time and only add to your heartache. I'm sorry that it's going like this for you, but she's pretty young still, and it's good to know now rather than later if it's not going to work out. When you find the one that's right for you, it has to be right for both of you, or it's not really the right one. Maybe given a few years, you and her may have found that you want to see each other again, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it. I'm with Tbone on this one...

    I agree, with both.

  7. Keep strongs ladies and gents keep strong! ....

question.... so will I get something in the mail from the Consulate stating they have my info from NVC or will my fiance get something stating they have the info?... will NVC send me something? the process after the NOA 2 seem's to be a wait till you get something from someone deal right? ...lol..

The beneficiary yes, idk how it works there but she/her may get the packet 3, which gives you the forms and states what documents are needed and he/she forward it back to the consulate, then once they receive it you'll know your interview date (this could be called the packet 4). If in the beneficiary's country they don't send the packet 3, only the packet 4, they'll let you know by mail/email what's your interview date and you bring all the forms and docs to the consulate, in the day of your interview. Ah don't forget the medical and fee :) (anyone corrects me if I'm wrong ok? )

You should keep calling NVC and DOS, to try to track what's going on with your petition, they're talking a while to give any answer but don't give up, keep bugging them :P I'm also waiting, but I'll only get the packet 4, which makes the process a little faster, depending on the country... I might only get an interview for mid. September... but oh well, as long as my honey comes to see me and go with me for the interview, I'll be ok :) Good luck!

By the way, Great News RichardShane! you're getting closer and closer, make sure to send everything correctly and you'll be fine for the interview :)

  8. :ot: lol darren.. why do you have so many tickers.. I got confused with it, you even have one with a ''prediction''.. the interview date hahaha.. I just find it funny, so many :P

:ot2: but you're right on the post above.. its snowballing, NVC has my petition for 11 days now, and they told me that petition was coming already to the consulate and then changed their mind.. nothing yet, I guess so many petitions being approved it might be crashing NVC systems.. they aren't used to that lol

  9. But wait a minute didn't you forget that you must do it while having a bloody mary and pouring salt over your shoulder or whatever that was! Oh I don't know Thea's the expert on that so consult with her!

Oh by the way I got a email from USCIS saying they are doing a review on my RFE response. Hmmm...I wonder how long it takes to review a yes or no question? Well I guess that is akin to asking how many USCIS adjucators it takes to screw in a light bulb? One will never know!

lol looky, I'll pass doing that.. if I tried to do while dancing, I'd probably trip and fall in the craziest way ever  I'm just that lucky lol

Ah idk how long it'll take, but I'm surely hoping you'll hear some GOOD news very soon!!!

I'm also here, praying for my friends that are still waiting for their NOA2's, you guys will see it coming very soon!! I wish my predictions were right  but fine, it feels better when it comes as a real biiig surprise!!! Hang in there guys and girls!! By the way... HAPPY FRIENDSHIP'S DAY!

  10. TO YOU, MY DEAR MARCH FILERS FRIENDS

    Cherished Friends

God must have known there would be times

We'd need a word of cheer,

    Someone to praise a triumph

    Or brush away a tear.

He must have known we'd need to share

    The joy of "little things"

    In order to appreciate

    The happiness life brings.

I think He knew our troubled hearts

    Would sometimes throb with pain,

    At trials and misfortunes,

    Or goals we can't attain.

He knew we'd need the comfort

    Of an understanding heart

To give us strength and courage

To make a fresh, new start.

    He knew we'd need companionship,

    Unselfish... lasting... true,

And so God answered the heart's great need

    With cherished friends... like you!

  11. She didn't make the joke, I did. And that was called sarcasm. Take it as rude, hateful or whatever you want, which wasn't what I meant... but why one person can say that is more deserving that others and I can't be ironic  ... Today was the pure irony of fate and I just felt like posting it. And to even be more honest, wasn't an internal joke.. was just me thinking it was different. Now ladies and gents, goodnight.
