Can I ask where your biometrics letter came from? Was it your local office?

It came from Homeland Security telling us where, when, how etc... and our local office is Pittsburgh, PA. They send you all the details in that letter, very simple.

Hi, coming from the K1 March Filers here! Filed for AOS, EAD and AP this month, received the three NOA's 1 on January 24th and yesterday we got the biometrics letter for February 16th

You don't need a DS-157 for the interview in Russia? That's the only one I can see its different than my interview forms.

LOL funny you say that California is slow, when we filed for our K1 last March, Vermont was known as the slow one and California was approving people within 2 months. Later on, Vermont was able to catch up but CSC was still faster. Funny how they work, hopefully yours won't take too long to be approved. Good luck!

@ Looky, I don't know what to tell you man. Honestly, I've been reading about everything it happened to your fiancee and the updates, I really don't know what to tell you. But to be honest with you, something does seem wrong to me about it all. Since its none of my business, I can just wish you good luck, if its meant to be it will happen, sooner or later.

About our case, we sent last week our AOS package and last night I received the NOA1's for everything. I'm very excited, but not really about the wait Oh well though, I had to wait to be here with my husband, now its all good.

We went to apply for social security card today, gonna receive it in the mail within probably 2 weeks, then next step is drivers license and joint account, to prepare AOS.

So... tomorrow is the big day for us, by this time we will be married already. FINALLY. Everything here is fine, life is good. Miss family but it's alright, wish they could see me tomorrow, see our happiness ...but as soon as we can, will be visiting them.

God damnit, I was gonna ask the same damn thing lol We are not married yet, but I was trying to figure out AOS in advance, so we wouldn`t have problems in the future to send it. So, I guess it's mostly up to you to take the risk of sending the pre-interview medical sheet and vaccination records only or not? Either way, I guess I'll call a Civil Surgeon and see what's needed.

POE was a breeze, everything is being so great here. I couldn`t be any happier than this, I feel so relieved. Time to cuddle and watch a movie with my future husband. Hope you guys are okay... keep us updated!

We did by ourselves the whole process so far and we're 5 days away from going to U.S together, with my visa in hand, ready to start our life as a married couple. I wouldn't spend money just to have somebody to fill out the forms and send them to USCIS. Good luck.

YAY Looky! Flight booked! She'll be so glad to be with you again, I'm sure. I'm glad she's doing better, and once you two are together the wait for the interview will be way easier. And that's a long time apart, but you guys are strong. Just a little more wait and everything will be fine.

So, my last week in Brazil. I'm getting nervous about everything but it's all good, I just want this to be over, I hate dealing with saddness and the goodbye. This is normal, everybody receives this. It means that they received your package and forwarded it to the right Service Center, either California or Vermont. And it all depends on where you live, obviously Vermont service center is the one who adjudicates your petition (looks it all over and hopefully approves it). Since you got this notice of action (NOA1) so far all is good and you're on the right track. Just time to wait now. Good luck

Look I understand that all of you want to be happy and positive, but this does not keep me entertained, nor does it allow me to provide you feedback as to how you can correct you problem.

You have to understand that human beings need to feel that their life is better than someone else’s, or they start to get depressed. Also going on how you love him or he loves you and all that ####### is really not that interesting. Please give me some drama or comedy, maybe some action. Life is not a fairy tale, its a struggle.

If you are going to tell me about your life tell me what you are going through. Some of you say you gained 18 pounds. Wow that’s a lot!!! How has this affected your relationship, health and so on.

If you’re in AOS, how has this changed your life? Your spouse is currently not working and being totally dependent you, how does that feel. If you are a women, do you feel subservient since you are staying home, or if you come from a country with little or no women’s rights, have you found the new gained freedoms refreshing. If you are a man how has this changed your masculinity, have you become the super dad, that wakes up in the morning makes your wife coffee, takes care of the kids, and then cooks dinner for her when she comes home from work.

In the restrictions lift or citizen process phase, tell me how you or your spouse relationship changed from start to now. Are the culture differences still there? How has the house dynamics changed, what new issues do you face.

In the end give me the drama, and the pain and leave the fantasy out. I need that 5 min of entertainment during work.

So, you probably don't have anything good in life? What a shame that you can't be as happy as most of us are, or maybe not really a shame. It has to be real depressing to come to an online community to look for more drama than life already is, how do you sleep at night?

I'm "sorry" I can't give you entertainment, because instead of complaining about the struggles, I'm thankful about the blessing I have. The link it was given to you it's the proper place to you, here's definitely the wrong place. In the end, just stay quiet, and I really don't think anyone is here to please YOU and YOUR entertainment. There's nothing to look here, keep moving kid.
