Hi all,

We filed for AOS in May, and looking at similar timelines we should be invited for the biometrics appointment sometime in the coming weeks.

I have seen a few posts on here of people missing their biometrics appointment as the letter didn t arrive until after the scheduled appointment.

I m wondering if using the case status check online could help us avoid this? Will it update from my fingerprint fee has been received (AOS) / my case has been received (EAD, travel) to indicate the biometrics appointment has been scheduled?

We had our AOS interview on 8/6/2020. We were told at the interview that we had been approved and should receive the green card at the end of Aug. I have checked the case status online and it still states that our interview has been scheduled. I understand with everything going on with Covid and USPS that things are delayed. Anyone know how long it is taking to get the green card? Thank you!

Back in May, I received a message to say I had been DQ and also an RFE to submit latest tax transcript (I had submitted all W2's but somehow the TT had not uploaded correctly). I submitted this and have not heard anything since, however I had received an email saying I had DQ'ed so I wasn't worried as I knew I would just have to take it to the interview with me anyway! I now have not received any communication from LDN embassy regarding my interview, and I am starting to wonder if my case has been over looked because of this. As well as a message, I also had an email to say I had been DQ'ed and my case would be send to the London Embassy to arrange an interview.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom? I didn't even give this a second though as I had my DQ email and a message (timestamped 1 minute after the RFE message)- so I thought it would be fine, but now I am getting so worried I should have chased this up before

So my brain just decided to pop all these questions in my head (to late at night and now I can t switch off)

with everything going on I think I ve overlooked a few things!

one...I had a letter back in April saying interview ready to be scheduled ( AOS interview from K1 visa). Not surprised I ve not heard anything yet but wondered if anyone else who s local office is Houston is the same as me, heard anything recently etc....

second....I can t seem to find the forms for renewing my EAD and maybe because it s so late I can t search properly but I forgot all about this and now panicking I ve got so much to do!

Is it the same form as before?

Is there a fee for renewals? ( I ve read conflicting things)

I read something about auto extensions so do I need to still do a form?
11pm was not the time I wanted all this stuff popping into my head

Any advice welcome
