POE Review: Dublin
Event Description
Entry Date : 2025-07-25
Embassy Review : Landed in Dublin with a healthy 3 and a half hour layover to make sure I had plenty of time to get through. There was only a 5 minute queue to get through the initial security checkpoint and then walked over straight to the entry officers. The officer greeted me with a big smile upon noticing my K1 Packet. He asked me about the wedding and took me into the back to process the K1. I sat waiting only for about 10 minutes when I was called over to the desk where the officer simply asked to make sure I knew I had 90 days to get married. After confirming the details of where I was going to be staying, I was smoothly waved through the double doors to where the gates were.

All in all a very quick process and all the officers were very helpful and welcoming. I felt like I had over prepared with the layover as I still had over 2 hours of waiting for my flight. But can't hurt to have the extra time if they are busy.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
