Hello, VJ friends!

I have been browsing here for quite a time. I have not encountered a topic about filing online vs mailing the ROC and evidences.

I would highly appreciate if there are people here who can share their experience filing online and thru mail.

I will be filing my ROC come October 2021.

Thank you!

Hey y all!

Id like to inform y all that I had pretty smooth and long interview earlier. The IO who was assigned to us, was very professional and nice. During the interview she mentioned that my case status will be changed this evening. But after few minutes prior reaching our hotel, I checked online and the I485 changed to Case approved while I130 is still on a status of Interview completed and case is for review. Just wanted to ask if anyone of you knows if you ve experienced this? And what s your thought about this two different case status?

Regards and TIA!!!

Greetings!
My wife and I received a message on 1/4/2021 stating we are ready to be scheduled for an interview for our green card. We are still awaiting the letter stating when we are scheduled for the interview.

Any advise on how long this might take to receive a scheduled date?
Thank you in advance...

2021 Travel: PH-US-PH

So it's my turn to plan a trip. Here's a checklist of everything I'm preparing. I'd appreciate feedback, especially from those who have recently travelled PH to US.

Anything else I need to prepare?

Target travel date: March 2020

1. Flights
PAL flights Manila-Los Angeles-Manila or Manila-San Francisco-Manila
Domestic flight LA/SF to final destination and back

2. PH exit requirements
Travel insurance covering COVID treatment and hospitalization

Traze Contact Tracing App
Copy of latest IATF Resolutions governing international travel
Execution of a Bureau of Immigration Declaration, "Acknowledging the risks involved in travelling, including risk of delay in their return trip. Form to be provided at the check-in counters by the airlines" - is this still required? If yes, I'd rather get it done beforehand

3. US entry requirements
Pre-departure PCR test at PAL testing center
B1/B2 visa (well duh, but including it here for the sake of completeness)

4. Proof of financial capacity and strong ties to PH
Personal bank and credit card statements to prove I'm paying for the trip
Previous passports with visas (originals and copies)
Letter of employment
Approved leaves
Approved contingency plan with my employer in case of last minute flight delays

5. Proof of relationship to fianc
NOA 1 and copy of I-129F packet with our photos and other evidence of relationship
Fianc 's contact info and US address
Fianc 's letter of employment

Fianc 's signed attestation that I will live at his home for the duration of the entire trip

6. Other nice to haves
Patience
Good humor
Confidence
The ability to laugh when things don't go according to plan

I think that covers the most important points but let me know if I missed anything.

Question regarding CEAC status

Hi! Asking for a friend's case.

She had her interview less than two weeks ago and after the consul grilled her a bit, he said that he will recommend for the approval of the visa. But, until now her passport is still at the embassy. Her status at CEAC showed as "Refused" after her interview; and it stayed like that for days. And the date has been updated twice under the "Refused" status. Then again, today it changed to "Ready".

Her questions are:

1. Is this something that she has to worry about?
2. Will the status change to "Issued" after this or will go through AP first, then "Issued"?

P.S. Even before she started the interview, her status at CEAC tracker is already "Refused" because she failed to attend her first scheduled interview due to incomplete medical. (sputum test)
