Hi Everyone, We are about to submit our paperwork for AOS from B2 Visa. What is the most practical way of doing a last name change after marriage (in terms of timing and cost)? - Can we do it while AOS is being processed or is it better to do it after getting the green card?
- What costs and/or forms are needed for a name change? (We live in Maryland but got married in DC)
- Any other tips/considerations
Thanks!

Greetings, my spouse arrived in the U.S 5 weeks ago and still waiting on her green card. How long does it usually take for green card to be sent out to the address of record?

Hi guys, I have a question and hoping that you could give me answers or suggestions on what we can do. We've submitted our packet AOS I-485, EAD I-765 and AP I-131 in February 3, 2021 and we received the receipts in March 22, 2021. However, we received recently an RFIE for supporting tax documents since my tax return in 2019 that we submitted didn't reach the poverty guideline. Also my wife applied for her ITIN last February 17, 2021 and she got her ITIN in April. We then submitted our Federal tax return last April 30. I have asked for my 2020 transcripts but when we received them it has no information which I believe they haven't gotten my tax paperwork yet since we applied it by mail. Anyway, we have a joint sponsor since my income in 2020 is not also enough. Here is my question: 1. Since my income in 2020 didn't qualify, are we only submitting our Joint's sponsor's Form I-864 and her supporting tax documents? Or do I also have to sent out my 2020 tax documents? Thank you very much for your help. AOS (Marriage based)

I am currently researching different immigration attorneys for a litigation against the Manila embassy. From what I have read, it appears that the Goldstein immigration lawfirm might be the best option. Has anyone else heard of this lawfirm and how well do they do the job? I believe that if I keep sitting around and continue to wait for the Manila embassy to do anything, I could be waiting for several years. I realize that litigation does not guarantee anything, but I have pretty much had it with the games and the hiding behind the covid #######. If anyone knows anything about Josh Goldstein and his lawfirm, let me know. Right now this is the only company that has responded to me.
