US Immigration from Philippines

Things change daily, weekly in the Philippines so don't get your hopes up just yet but something internal is going on in the Philippines as far as re-opening travel. The Bureau of Immigration posted something on their Facebook page that had an interesting ending, I don't believe the Philippines is going to go through another holiday season closed to travel they need the injection of cash at least that is my personal opinion. Next week they could release a statement they are not re-opening until June of 2022 who knows.

Last part of the release is the following:

Okay I have one question. I was married to a Filipina in 2012 in the Philippines. (That was my first mistake) I brought her to USA, she became US Citizen and all that. Last year she came home one day "After visiting a friend" and said it was over, there was no hope for us, she would not participate in counseling, church, etc to try to save our marriage. She left.

So now we are divorced in the US and every other country in the world except for the Philippines. Does anyone have any information how I can get the Philippines to recognize my divorce. Any suggestions of an attorney in Manila? Estimates of cost and time frame?

I want to say a very big Thank you to this whole community, since i started this Journey on the K1 process back in 2017 and went to a CR1 everyone has been extremely helpful in this life Journey.

I and thousands and hundreds of thousand have struggled through a heck of a process to either be granted our wishes for our significant others or loss due to problems with this unforgiven immigration struggle, everyone needs to stay strong and keep at it either here in the USA or what ever country you all live in dreams do come true.

My fiance/now wife has endured a lot from k1 through to the cr1 process and it is a very costly matter it is not for the faint of hearts going through this ordeal and many struggles lay ahead for all to come.

Our final interview is July 23rd after 2.5 yrs of marriage finally will become one God willing, i will keep you all informed on how things go for interview and will update timeline as needed.

what visa is used if a mother in law sponsors a filipino- as to immigrate into the usa..thank you
