Hi everyone, The 90-day window for my spouse to file to remove conditions on his 2-year green card is next week. We're under contract for a new home, and our lender is asking us for proof that we're renewing his green card (obviously since my spouse is a co-signer, they want assurance that he'll be able to continue working after his current green card expires). What can I use as proof that we've filed for ROC? Should I send the packet by certified mail and use the received receipt as proof? Or for the check to clear as proof? Or do I need to wait weeks for the extension letter to arrive? I'd prefer that this not to affect our closing date at the end of December, so I'm looking for the fastest way we can submit proof to our lender. Thank you!

Hello, I wanted to know if its possible for my children to attend their Visa Interview though we only filed my K1 petition, theyre supposed to FTJ (FOLLOW TO JOIN) when I recieved an email from the Embassy for my Interview date they sent me 2 emails ), 1st has my name on it and 2nd email has my name and my children's name though we never filed any for K2 but their name's was listed in I129f. Is it possible for them to attend if we pay the visa fee, fill up the ds160, do their medical. I was Sputum and my result will be in Dec 22 and i read few applicants recieved an email for their rescheduled date for visa interview from the embassy after completing their medical. Thank you.

There was a post on another topic that pointed out that the I-130 online app was filling in an end date for the UCS's current marriage ( to the beneficiary ) with the end date of the previous marriage listed below it. Nobody seemed to get excited about it, but it seems serious to me and it has happened to at least 2 of us. It occurs on page 3 of 18, in the left hand column, about halfway down, under the heading "Name all your spouses." I'm curious as to how best to fix this issue. Thanks for listening.

She got the certficate. Will be in Dallas on Sunday. This was her 2nd session with this counselor. I don't have all the details yet but this lady was not giving it up. It seems again that her daughter (4 yo) was the main sticking point. Her main concerns were men bring over filipina's then don't marry them. How can my fiancee know that I'm not a wife abuser or child molester, and something about the Asian violence going on in America. Once I have the full details, I will post.

So my wife is planing to go home for vacation but on her passport its still her name before we got married but on her green card its her name after we were married. so my question is, has anybody experience or done something like it before? Did you have any trouble with immigration going back to the us, since your name on your passport is different from your green card?
