US Immigration from Philippines

Apologies if this is in the incorrect location and thank you advance for any advice.

My Filipino fiance and I just completed the DS160, after numerous time out drops and 3 hours later, and I was wondering if we may have made a mistake.

She started the process on her laptop in Manila, but has an absolutely terrible internet connection, so we completed the form from my computer here in the US with her assistance via TeamViewer.

Basically, I was the one who actually clicked on the signature box and entered her passport information for her.

Did we make a mistake with this?

Should we resubmit making sure that she clicks on the signature block from her computer in manila?

My fianc and I will be completing the DS-160 soon and we should have an interview date shortly. I know we will need to schedule an exam at SLEC and I was wondering about optimal timing of the appointment. My fianc lives in Mindanao, so it would be preferable to do the exam on the same trip as the interview. My question is, what is the best amount of time between the exam and the interview? I would prefer to have the dates close enough to do on the same trip, but I would also like a cushion of time in case there is some problem with the exam.

My second question regarding timing is the amount of time between the interview(assuming an approval) and receiving the visa. I m wondering if it is better for her to return home to Mindanao while she waits for the visa or to stay in Manila and wait there since she will most likely need to fly from there when traveling to the US.

My Fiance just got here a week ago and we are trying to figure out what to do, We saw that we need to file an I-485 Adjustment of Status after we got married but my question is do we REALLY need to file I-765 and I-131? I was under the impression that once AOS is approved then he can actually work in the USA legally and can travel out of the USA once that AOS is approved? Am i correct? I understand that filing I-765 will make it quicker for him to work legally while waiting for the AOS result....

My fianc and I have had our case received by the embassy in Manila and the status is showing Ready. My fianc s Philippine passport will expire with less than 6 month remaining so we are in the process of renewing the passport. The appointment for passport renewal is on 3/31 and the given timeframe to receive the new passport is 4-6 weeks. I would like to start the DS-160 application now and provide the embassy an updated passport number if possible so we can secure an appointment. However, if trying to provide a new passport number other than the one provided in the application causes a problem, I think it would be better to wait and start the DS-160 after the passport is received. I ve reached out to the embassy for guidance, however, my phone calls have been disconnected and the email response I received did not address my question. Does anyone know the best course of action in this situation?

I am having a hard time uploading our I864 and I864a on NVC website. It says in there 2mb per file or pic. My file is 20mb and won t upload. What did you guys do?
