US Immigration from Philippines

In time, the love of my life and I are going to get married in the Philippines. I'm going to be following certain forums so WE both know what needs to be done during the process.

The US accepts rapid antigen testing. There are so many different types of tests that this can be confusing.

Does a saliva test meet this requirement or does it need to be a swab?

These questions go to the recent applicants/relatives who have received an interview appointment at the US Embassy but had to undergo sputum exam at SLEC:

1] Did you just didn't show up to your appointment schedule because of the sputum process? Or you called the US Embassy that you can't make it to your schedule?

2] When did you try calling the US Embassy that you needed a new schedule? Was it after you were cleared after two months?

3] Was it easy to get a new schedule at the Embassy since there is a race to meet the 3 month validity of your medical and had to get your interview, get the visa and leave for the US within the validity of the medical exam?

Hello!Im hoping somebody can help me.I am a us citizen for a year already and i am starting to fill up my form i30 for my dad but im having second thoughts if i should do it or find a lawyer to do it.my dad was deported almosy 14years ago for fraud, he entered US as single even though he is already married and did not declare it, he stayed in US for 17 years prior to deportation.his deportation is for 20 years. i dont know if filing the petition will make it worse or if its going to be approve because its only been 13 a half years since he was deported.thank you for anyone who will response.

My fianc e and her two kids were just granted k1/K2 visas and will be here in two weeks. We plan on getting married in March.

For insurance purposes, they need to have SSNs or be in the process of getting them. I understand that my fianc e can get one as soon as she gets here. But the two children will have to apply for EAD. Which is $410 each.

I also understand that you can apply for EAD along with AOS and there is no additional fee for the I-765.

What have others done so as their families are covered by insurance and able to get SSNs so they can be claimed on taxes?
