US Immigration from Philippines

Did not know where to put this. No choice for Guam as POE.

When me and my fiance (K-1) returned to the US, our route took us from MNL to GUM to HNL to IAH and finally TYS, I thought our POE would have been HNL, but was in fact in Guam.

The immigration officer, very friendly, took us to a nearby office for processing. He asked my fiance a few questions, such as my name, address, when we were getting married and then we were on our way.

So I was not sure if I should post here or under bringing family member of permanent resident. I posted here because of the fact that there are documents that are needed and only for the Philippines. I figured the people here have better understanding on which document exactly does the NVC needs..

Please help! So my mom received an email from NVC yesterday. I logged in today and had all these docs rejection. It basically says for each to replace with an acceptable documents from a correct issuing authority. Im not sure what exactly they mean. No specific of which exactly do they need. Like for instance, it did say to submit police certificate and they rejected the one my mom submitted. Even my I-864a and birth certificate as prove we are mom and daughter. What should I do?

for tax return and I864A it was saying We are unable to accept these documents as uploaded. Please add Katherine as a household member under Nora. All documents for Katherine should be submitted under their own name.

FIL got his passport back today with no visa and a blank letter with just his address on it.

Responded to the last two 221G's

First one was for NBI with AKA as he had a corrected Birth Certificate. After this it went to Issued for a week then back to ready and then refused and received passport back with 221G.

Second one was another NBI with alternate middle name as the parents names were swapped on his marriage certificate.

Responded to that a week ago and sent passport back along with all documents plus uploaded to CEAC.

Not sure what to make of it.

Issue is going to be since he went through Sputum culture his medical will expire on 6/24 so getting down to the wire now.

Anyone get a blank letter and the passport back with no explanation?

I couldn't find the answer to this in the search function.

I sent a passport for my wife and kids. I had a letter for two of my kids requesting documentation on their presence in the US (school records, etc). How long of a wait time after they receive the documentation? I've seen mixed answers. Thanks!

Hi everyone I filed an i130 on 04/21/2022 for my wife in the Philippines. I am the petitioner and am a USC. We are still awaiting approval for the i130 and my wife wants to change her name on her Philippine passport to my last name since the process is easier while she s still there in the Philippines as opposed to doing it here in the States.
I filed the i130 with her current last name (her father s last name). Her current last name is on the marriage certificate and her birth certificate. What steps do I need to take to make sure there s no confusion with her name moving forward in the immigration process? We will file for a CR1 visa upon approval of the i130. PLEASE Help!!
