If I process to bring my wife and her child to the US, when everything is approved does her child have to come right away with her or can he come at a later date? He is 15 and wants to finish his schooling in the Philippines and we would like to get settled before bringing him to the US.

Good evening everyone, I'm not going to lie... I'm a bit panicked right now. My wife has had her biometrics for removal of conditions on her 2 year green card. We are currently in the long waiting period of getting the 10 year green card and have finally reached the point where we can do the early filing for N400. A couple weeks ago my wife finally got her full driver's license and we had a long struggle at the DMV while the employee there (a new hire) scattered back and forth trying to figure out how to give a full license to a permanent resident (turns out it's no different than the process for a US citizen), but I'm just now finding out that protocol for expired licenses is to shred them on the spot at the DMV. Apparently this woman upon getting my wife's expired green card (along with the I-797 extending said green card) decided that she'd take my wife's green card and shred it. My wife (not realizing that this was very wrong) didn't realize it was a big deal until just now while I was trying to verify the dates on her card and she told me it has been shredded. So, naturally, I'm panicking. Under normal circumstances we'd just file for a replacement, no big deal, but can we even file to replace the EXPIRED green card? Is the I-797 going to be enough? Will we need both the green card and I-797 to finish the process to get the 10-year green card, or the N400? Please help. Any advise is appreciated.

Hello, Yesterday, I made 2 bonehead mistakes. After painstakingly going through the checklist and gathering all the necessary documentsI sent the package out to now realize that I didnt include the check!!!! I also forgot to include the G-1145 to be updated. I need a little advice, do I redo the entire package and sent it out again or will I be notified that I am an idiot but be given the chance to send the payment? Is this an automatic RFE? I am completely unfamiliar with this other than what I have read on here and information I have been able to gather on the internet but I cannot find a direct answer on how to proceed. If ANYONE can provide some insight we would greatly appreciate it. I fedex'd the package to the lockbox in Texas yesterday if that matters. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone! We are getting ready for the next step of our lives, Naturalization. But we are confused with the process. Are we suppose to remove the condition of the 2 year greencard condition? first submit the papers then while pending we can go ahead and file for naturalization? Or we can go straight to the Naturalization? I ve researched about it and I m getting split answers. p.s I m married for 3 years now with my husband.
