US Immigration from Philippines

My income on the i-864 was way over the amount needed to sponsor my wife without a joint sponsor. I have military retirement (nontaxable CRSC), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and VA 100% rating (nontaxable). Did I get this message because I don't have to file taxes and the only 1099 was for SSDI? I upload all the pay statements from all three sources. Should I just ignore it and press on.

The income reported as stated on form I-864, I-864A is insufficient to overcome the public charge grounds of inadmissibility for visa issuance. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos and https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview. Note: You, as the sponsor, and any other sponsors household members and joint sponsors, must provide updated or additional evidence for the applicant to present at the time of their interview such as: * Other income * Assets * Proof of current employment Note: You submitted documentation to the National Visa Center through the Consular Electronic Application Center CEAC. You can continue to upload documents to CEAC up until the date of your visa interview.

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question. Asking for my friend, he is within the 90 day window to apply to get the conditions removed from his green card. He came here on a spouse visa and got a conditional green card. They are in the process of getting a divorce, but the divorce papers won t be finalized by the time he needs to submit his papers to uscis.

Does he have to apply jointly with his wife? Or can he still file separately even though he doesn t have divorce proof yet?

Hi, a newbie here on this forum. Anybody ever filed N400 with Raleigh office as their field office? what is the processing timeline of this office please?

I filed online on June 20th, so 8 days ago. The reason I asked is because I'm planning to travel overseas in the summer next year. So I will need my US passport ready in hands.

it says on my USCIS account that it will take 10 months plus let's say 2 months to get the US passports. The time line is kind of close to my children's summer time.

Does any of you who filed N400 ever expedite the process? Please kindly share your experience. Thank you

We'd like to help my in-laws obtain B-2 tourist visas to come and visit my wife (she is an LPR, applying for N-400 this coming January). I realize the letter of sponsorship does nothing to help the case. However, my in-laws aren't computer literate and will have great difficulty filling out the forms. Am I able to fill out the forms on their behalf and file them stateside?
