CEAC says we will be contacted regarding the next steps. I understand every country is different. Will the embassy send us an info packet? Or do we just go ahead and find out how to submit the DS-160, get the receipt, and make our appointments?

If you wait for a package you will wait forever.  Instructions are online.

Once CEAC status shows "Ready", go ahead and submit the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, and book the interview.  No need to wait for instructions from USEM.  Once you have the interview schedule, book the medical at SLEC.

The fee is $220us?

Is it the travel.us.gov website that you use to do all this?

Thank you for this. Looking at the payment coupon you take to the bank, it calls for a reference number. I assume that is what you get after your submit the DS-160?

Just because sometimes I need things ELI5:

1. She completes the DS-160, and then there is a link to submit it.
2. After submitting, she gets some receipt number needed to make the payment.
3. She takes the cash to RCBC and pays the fees, using the number from #2 above.
4. She can then go to https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-appointmentschedule.asp and schedule the interview.
5. Following that, St Luke’s can be scheduled.

6. When physical & interview are complete, start jumping thru the CFO hoops to reach the endgame.

Is that about it? If so, you guys might want to put these steps in a FAQ or something somewhere. I’m sure many folks have the same questions.

Thank you for your time. I truly appreciate it. Is been quite a road so far, but we can see the end finally.

After submitting DS-160, your fiancee will get a DS-160 confirmation with barcode.  She needs that, so make sure to follow the instructions for printing it out.  But the DS-160 confirmation is different from the MRV receipt.

To pay the MRV fee, generate and print a deposit slip using -- https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=265&country=philippines

Follow the instructions for payment at RCBC.  After paying the fee, the bank will issue a receipt.  Wait 1 business day after paying, then book the interview appointment using the receipt number from the bank.

CEAC says my case is in Ready status too. I was wondering if I should wait or go ahead and start to do the steps that @madmanmike outlined.

From my research this looks about right, but it was great someone else was able to confirm with me as well. Just like what @Chancy said #3 she gets a deposit slip generate from the embassy's website.

This is my understanding of the remaining process now that CEAC says ready status:

  1. Fiancé complete DS-160
-Print confirmation page and/or email a copy of it to yourself.
  2. Generate a deposit slip from US Manila Embassy link and bring to a local RCBC to pay.
    https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=265&country=philippines
-Make copy of deposit slip and keep receipt
  3. Schedule an interview date through the link: https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/ph-niv-appointmentschedule.asp
-Will need Confirmation Code from DS-160 Confirmation page
-Will need Receipt Number from Deposit Slip
  4. Schedule a medical exam at SLMCEC https://slec.ph/registration/us/
    -Note required documents https://slec.ph/registration/us/visa-applicant.php?s=required-documents#required-documents
  5. Prepare for Embassy interview/attend interview appointment
-Ensure all documents are prepared in pre-interview requirements
    https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MNL-Manila.html#pre_interview_checklist
  6. Wait for delivery or pickup passport with visa when available
  7. Schedule CFO GCP session
    https://cfo.gov.ph/cfo-hybrid-frontline-services-for-guidance-and-counseling-program/
-Page not reachable from US. Need VPN to another country that is available like Asia or have fiancé register from Philippines.
-Choose which on-site (Face-to-face) session will be at such as Manila, Cebu, or Davo site.
-Registration requires to scan passport and visa
-Receive CFO certificate (temporary via email)
  8. Buy ticket and prepare for immigration to US!!

Let me know if I am missing anything on this list

Is there an additional fee for the medical at St Luke’s?

There is a fee for the SLEC medical that must be paid during the appointment.  Just one standard, all-in fee for adult applicants.  Includes cost for all lab tests, vaccinations (except COVID), TB treatment (if required).
