Hi guys, I have a question and hoping that you could give me answers or suggestions on what we can do. We've submitted our packet AOS I-485, EAD I-765 and AP I-131 in February 3, 2021 and we received the receipts in March 22, 2021. However, we received recently an RFIE for supporting tax documents since my tax return in 2019 that we submitted didn't reach the poverty guideline. Also my wife applied for her ITIN last February 17, 2021 and she got her ITIN in April. We then submitted our Federal tax return last April 30. I have asked for my 2020 transcripts but when we received them it has no information which I believe they haven't gotten my tax paperwork yet since we applied it by mail. Anyway, we have a joint sponsor since my income in 2020 is not also enough. Here is my question: 1. Since my income in 2020 didn't qualify, are we only submitting our Joint's sponsor's Form I-864 and her supporting tax documents? Or do I also have to sent out my 2020 tax documents? Thank you very much for your help. AOS (Marriage based)

Hi, My husband and I just had our AOS interview this morning and they are holding the case for further review. The immigration officer seemed unsatisfied with my not being able to remember my husband's address of where he lived when we first met, I remembered bits and pieces but not the full address, and he questioned the fact that we met on Facebook and seemed like he didn't like that answer. I know it is up to the individual officer but does this sound like reason enough to deny the adjustment of status?

Wishing everyone in the forums are safe and doing well in their visa journey. My wife's EAD card expires in January 2021. We filed our AOS back in August 2020. Currently, we are just waiting for the interview for the conditional "green card". I do not know when that will be as each case is different. I read articles in the forums that it takes less than a year after filing and others are waiting for more than a year. I hope we get interview by August or September, four or five months before her current EAD card expires. However, if we don't get an interview appointment by September, when should we start the process of applying for another EAD card? She has a great job now and we don't want her to lose it if we don't get her green card by January. We don't want to wait the last minute to apply as it took 5 months to get the first EAD card after filing. Any insights or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Have anyone here applied for a renewal of EAD card?
