Hi all.

So on my ds 260 I indicated that I don't know where the biological dad to my daughter is.(honestly I didn't know)

Now after the interview the consular gave me a yellow form and asked for consent letter from the baby daddy or an order of sole custody.

So I did all I could last few days and to my shock the guy moved to USA few years ago.

So if he agrees to consent..

1.will he get it notarized in the usa?

2.will it not bring issues since i indicated on ds260 that I don't know where he is and now i know?

3.is it easier to go with order of sole custody.

Someone please help me reason out.

I went for my cr1 cr2 interview in kenya on 5th sep 2019.

It went well until the consular asked me to provide consent letter from my daughters biological father since it appears on the birth certificate.(my husband applied for her as a stepdaughter)She also asked us to upload a joint sponsor(affidavit)

So she gave me the yellow form and told me send either consent letter or order of full custody via dhl and your two original passports.

Any Hope in our case?

221g yellow slip given to my son. What next?

I filed F2A visa for my son in Nairobi. He went for the interview on 22AUG19 and he was given 221g to submit documents proving our relationship. I uploaded on the CEAC site and the final document was uploaded on 26th of August. We are now waiting. The status went from AP to ready but they haven't called him to submit his passport. Does anyone know how long this could take? It is really really stressing me out.

Hello,

Our K1 fiance petition got approved and we also have a DS-160 application number and confirmation.

We've tried to follow the necessary steps but we got stuck at trying to schedule an appointment online for an interview. We have tried online several times to schedule, however it has always given us the no available appointments.

I was wondering when is the payment usually made ? Is it before or after the scheduling of the appointment? How do you send the payment via mpesa or postbank? We have not made any payments, could this be the reason why we are not getting any appointments dates ?

We would like to send the $265 payment via M-Pesa however we do not know the number to which to send the payment, or do we need to go to the Postbank to get the payment information?

How can we make sure that payment is attached to our application and schedule an appointment?

Any insight would be appreciated.

I have a question on affidavit of support part.My husband is the petitioner and has filed for me and our 2 children.He doesn t meet the financial requirements of sponsoring us.My question number one is,can he look for 3 different joint sponsors for each one of us or it is mandatory to have one sponsor to cater for all of us?
Question 2,His income can atleast sponsor a household of 3,can he sponsor 2 and just look for one joint sponsor for one benefiary?.I will appreciate your feedback.Thank you
