Hi Everyone

Looking for immigrants that went through green card sponsor and Montreal consulate interview

Myself, Family based sponsor for green card, currently DQ and waiting for interview letter at Montreal Consulate.

Brief details on my case: I m Canadian, spouse is US and both living and working in Canada. Investment and home assets, also have a family relative joint sponsor living in US.

My concerns are having a foreign employer and using my current home as an asset if they ll question or have issues with that for the income requirement. Wanted to see anyone was in the situation and how they approached it, was the CO flexible or difficult?

Any advice or help is appreciated

Hello everyone, may I know how long it take to receive an interview letter from the Montreal embassy. I got Dqd on September 23rd. Also, my other question is what type of immunization we are supposed to have. I know that I am up to date with my immunization just wanted to prepare myself ahead of time, I want to prevent any delays. Oh if there is any discussion group for Canadians immigrating to the US please add me up.

Thank you in advance

How to fulfill income requirements with foreign income/employers

I recently received DQ and also an note stating I do not net income requirements.

This was due to the fact that both me and my spouse (who is my sponsor) live in a foreign country and work for foreign employers

We ve decided to add a joint sponsor as requested by NVC (family member living in USA)

My question now is, during the interview, will adding the joint sponsor (income over poverty line) fulfill the income requirements?

We also included our house as an asset

I know what they want to see is whether or not your income will continue after immigrating to US, but not sure how that s proven since we will not request employment relocation or look for new jobs until the visa is obtained.

Will the joint sponsor and home assets suffice for the visa to be approved at the interview or is more required? Seeing if anyone else had to go through the same

Any help is appreciated.

FCA Compliance Letter

Has anyone had any luck recently getting a compliance letter from FCA? I asked the dealership and they have not had a single person get the compliance letter. Told me I was best just to pay a broker, which I am not willing to do.

I was told today to do the following by a rep with FCA Canada after talking to FCA US:

Send Letter and include Copy of Canadian Vehicle Registration, Proof of Immigration, Current Address, Current KM on Vehicle, Cover letter stating reason for request

Mail to: FCA CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER

C/O TECHNICAL SUPPORT TEAM

PO BOX 21-8004, AUBURN HILLS, MI 48321-8004

I want to make sure this is correct and I'm not wasting time when we finally get our interview as we want to head down to the warmer weather ASAP. If anyone has had luck doing it this way, how long did it take?

USCIS case status site: Processing time

Hi Everyone

I'm sort of new to this , so hoping to get some clarification. We are waiting for our I-130 to be approved and we got our NOA1 back in May 2022 . Currently i, the case says, it is under "Case being actively reviewed". I know patience is key and we're just waiting to get our NOA2. On the USCIS portal where it shows your case details and documents, there is a tab that says processing time. There is a number on there (ours say 7 months).

Does anyone know if that is counting down from when we got our NOA1 (as in next month it'll say 6 months and so forth) or is that saying it generally takes 7 months to process cases based on when we got our NOA1 (so 7 months from May). I assume its counting down based on all the timelines i see on this site and others but i wanted to check.

thank you in advance for your help. This site is awesome!

Cheers.

Ravi.
