Well yesterday i had my interview and i have finally been approved! As long as the blood test comes back clear from the medical, which it will i will have my visa in hand ina bout 2 weeks! Here is what happened at the interview for anyone still waiting.

Firstly after waiting in line for an hour, they let us into the building on a first come first serve basis i think. They called my number and took me up to booth 1. Not a room like i expected, just a bloke behind a glass pane like in a bank. He asked to see the documents in order and told me to go and sit down to wait for my interview.

About 15 minutes later i was called up to a separate interview window, again in a line of booths. I was asked how i met my fiance. I answered this and was immediately told i had been approved and to arrange for it to be couriered, as long as my medical (later on in the day) was all ok. It took roughly 5 minutes, and i was never asked for any evidence of our relationship.

A job well done, now i am travelling on my visa on 10th december on a 1 way flight! Finally the hard part is over.

WoW.. You got some good evidence there...

It should be harder and more Questions for K VISAS.. From what I heard IR VISAS get more questions.. Which I don't understand.. For god sake you guys have been married for more than 2 yrs.. I feel they should just be easy on IR VISA interviews.. But oh well every consul is different..

CONGRATULATION!! and Have a safe trip to America!!
