Great place for cheap calling cards.

http://www.callingcardplus.com/

My biggest expenses:

1) Plane tickets, Chinese Visa, Hotel bills, spending cash for visits - Travel costs

2) USCIS fees

Other things like sending packages, phone bills, letters, are all well within reason and under control.

The next set of costs will probably be supporting her for the doctor's visits, travel and stays for the consulate interview, airplane ticket over here as well as travel expenses for me to visit as well. Quite expensive here.

Luckily I found VJ and distrust lawyers. I would hate paying $1000-3000 or more for a lawyer, since that is almost a trip cost right there. Besides that, the $1000+ for AOS and other fees are also going to be costly.

Other major expenses will be for wedding and other costs of this type.

Try Skype - talk PC to PC for free. We talk 4 and 5 hours at a time. Very inexpensive to start up - all you need is a broadband connection and a headset - and a computer of course. We would go broke with phone bills for as much as we talk. Good Luck!

By far the biggest single expense has been my stepdaughter (now 22 years old). Don't ask! It's a long story and there is no ending.

When you marry the mama...the children come with the package. ;)

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995
