All of it.....the incredibly high cell phone bills, the trips to see him, the cost of what seems like every single piece of paperwork reqiured, the actual visa charges. Then he comes here and can't work for months while AOS is in process. Covering him on your insurance while you want for him to find a job and his to kick in.

It's been 16 months and we are just now settling down. Now, looking forward to removing conditions next year and the cost of that and naturalization soon after. It seems the costs never end.

Plane tickets, USCIS fees and lost income waitin at home while waitin for my EAD to be approved!

Hubby and I used calling cards to call each other! with cheap rates

Shipping my stuff over wasnt cheap either lol

Plane ticket and visa fees here and in India were the biggest expenses. We usually used Yahoo Messenger voice chat so phone expenses weren't much (he would go to Internet cafes in India cuz he didn't have a computer).
