just wondering how people attached and/or included pics in their package. we're going to include about 20 pics (we've done a lot of traveling over the past 2 years). i've dated and noted the A# on the back of each pic.

you should just make photocopies of them....

you don't need to send in the actual pictures...

I will do the same as we did for any other submission, put them in a sandwich bag

We made color copies of them on standard copier paper.

Actually, we taped them to standard copier paper, and then wrote dates and descriptions next to them. Then we made color photocopies of that. So they ended up on standard paper with the captions right there. Generally, two pictures fit onto each 8.5x11 page.

We didn't send any pictures, and got approved with no problems. As long as you have lots of joint documents, pictures are not necessary.

Most of our photos are already in my scrapbooks, so I'm planning to choose a few representative pages, scan/photograph them, and then print out the page at 8x8 so that it fits on regular paper...

I wrote my A# and a description on the back of each photo and then put them in zip lock bags and hole punched the bag and attached it to the Acco clip at the top of the folder..

i guess you could get copies of the pictures made but then why not just photocopy them, it probably would be cheaper in the long run....

You won't get any originals back (pictures anyway, don't know about anything else). I know because we've sent some "original" pictures for the initial K1, I129f submission. The pictures were actually doubles, but no, we didn't get them back. If I remember correctly we've added an envelope back then, in which we put the pictures, so they don't fly around when they open the envelope in the mail room.

Now for I751 we had our pictures digitally and just made printouts on regular paper and added some captions as to what/who can be seen on the picture and the dates. Of other pics I just made a simple color copy. I doubt USCIS cares about picture quality. So just do whatever you find suitable.

Most of our pictures are in digital format. So I printed out good copies on photo paper and glued them on to a sheet with captions (e.g. Trip to NASA Sept 2005, Trip to the Philippines Aug 2006, etc.).

Also used ziplock bags here, and did the same with the hole punching and acco clip. That's the way I sent pics in our past petitions too.

I'm sure printing them on photo paper pages with captions(date taken, etc) is a good alternative too.

No, the photos won't be returned but that's fine as long as you have additional copies or have them saved on your computer.

Our photos are digital so we printed several per 8.5 x 11 page with captions.

i printed our digital photos 4x6, signed on the back - date and explanation, and put them in big postcard size envelope so there was room for two-hole punch on top, and submit it with rest of package secured with "ACCO fasteners"

but now if i ever do it again, i'd print photos and tape them to letter size paper and put explanation between, or even PREprint the paper and then tape photos, that way you know they wont be dropped accidentally out of your case.
